DS audio allows you to stream music stored on your DiskStation with an iPhone/iPad wherever an Internet connection is available. Better yet, with the offline mode you can listen to songs stored in the device’s local memory for when no network connection is available. You can browse music by albums, artists, folders or genres, create your own playlists or share them with your friends, and even rate your music! And if you have dedicated stereo speakers at home, DS audio can also become a remote control to stream music to them.

Barely Functional.
1. The scan/fast forward to skip through a track doesn’t work. It advances you to the next or some following track. If I want to get to a particular segment of a song I cannot. Maddening. 2. Rudimentary EQ would be welcome. 3. When I add a track from my DS I get the whole album. 4. Search? I like that it nicely scans and has my whole library at my fingers as I have 7-8 thousand CDs stored.
Features That Would Be Nice To Have
Quick thanks for fixing the accent names issue. Would be nice to have a “By Year” under “Categories”. Would also be nice to see the DS AUDIO app available on AppleTV - DS PHOTO, DS VIDEO are already available on tvOS.

Problems logging in remotely
The app has problems again to login via quick connect.
Please make iPhone app can rotate the screen
I can not read a long file name in the portrait mode. Please make the landscape mode available and file names to flow to the left so that I can read the whole file name.

Can’t find the folders anymore
Very bad. My songs are organized via folders. Was able to play very well. Since updated, what a mess. Please get the folders back!
Wanted this to work…
Wanted this to work, loved being able to put Audiobooks on my NAS, download them for offline use with the app for my drive to/from work. I have given up. 1. Half the time, when i pause my book and the phone shuts off, the app has closed itself and I have to login again. 2. Every 10 or so logins, the app has lost my place in the book and starts over. 3. Offline downloads seem to disappear randomly. Have to delete app, reinstall to clear cache as I have no downloads and 2GB of storage being used. 4. When there is spotty cell service I have not been able to get into the app since it hangs logging in, fails, kicks me out. Works if I remember to use airplane mode. Have moved to my Plex server with Prologue, much better for audiobooks. Will keep using DS Audio for music it works for that when I want it.
Please add offline download support for CarPlay!
Please add offline download support for CarPlay! Also should tweak the user interface of the player, I find it not user friendly when I am used to playing an album but it just keeps adding the songs to the play list The volume button and the airplay button is too close together causing me to always tap on the airplay button by accident. The rewind and fast forward buttons looks like they are greyed out but actually function. Should change the colour of it
