App is ok but with Surveillance Station it is full of bugs. Notifications are delayed beyond reason. Tech support is not there or doesn’t resolve issues. Stay away.

My go-to tool to check recordings
A very quality app. I don’t understand all the bad ratings, the app is very good. In fact, I like it better than the original web client, as in the app I can find what I need faster. The app has everything you need, and I have not encountered any bugs or crashes.
Good but video do not work for 1 cam …
Video do not work on this app for Unifi Flex G3 but works well on the PC app. Screenshots works for this cam, otherwise this is a good app. I use it for years now without any big issues (except this one).
Work sometimes, buggy more time
this app works sometimes, but it is hard to believe this is an official app released by synology, since customers pay quite a lot to the synology hardware expecting good software support of it. on my iphone (all the versions of ios in the last two years, but much more frequent recently, currently ios 16.3.1), this app frequently failed to playback past events, it can view the live stream, but when click on a specific camera, a white spnning icon then over a blurred camera view, and never get out of it. I tried open the synology side via webbroswer, which is fine. therefore the issue is with this app. tried logout and re-isntall the app, all not work, still not playback. it also often exit the app all of sudden.
Useless
Video feeds just show a continuous spinner. This used to work but no longer does. I’m on the latest iPhone
Good function but having problems with the latest iPhone
Function wise, this app is quite good. But the developer needs fix it to get it to work with iPhone 12 series. It will crash and cause the iPhone 12 to restart when jumping back to view events. Using the same app version and IOS on my older iPhone 6s didn’t have this problem.
Very bad
Like anything you get for free, it’s garbage. Video playback freezes, audio not syncing with video, etc. If you want a decent video surveillance solution, get something else.
No longer works on iPad
Unable to connect using quick connect on iPad.
Brutal battery hog!
Disabled background app refresh and location serviced still sucks battery after using the app without killing it.
Completely overhauled
Latest update made dscam for iOS an app that deserves multiple awards! It took a very long time but synology proved they’ve been working really hard to make this happen. Keep up the good work
