Naprosta hruza. Jen zalogovat se do vasi Synologiny aplikaci trva 20 sekund, dalsich 20 nez se dostanete k zaznamu a prehravani. Synology bohuzel posledni dobou tezce nestiha a kameru tak musim sledovat z externi appky jejiho cinskeho dodavatele, coz me extremne rozciluje.
With versión 5.8 "Hardware decoding" switch has disapeared so the video from cameras with h.264 codec is stucked. Looks like nobody has tested this version of app ☹️
Hijacking audio output, reconnection problems, slow connection, play/pause problems while opening cam, poor tech support.
With the latest version there is impossible to save more than one (iPhone 15 Pro) or two (iPad Pro) accounts. iOS and App latest versions.
DS418 with four cameras - for few years without problem. Sometime is problem to connect via quickconnect, but whatever. Now after some issue around my house i see i cannot playback video in application. But only video in H.265+. H.264 is fine. Only thing is changed - my phone was updated to ios 16. How can i solve problem? And I dont want to switch cameras to .264

I have been using NAS Synology for camera systems for many years. And I've never had a big problem. Now, even if I don't know what has changed. like many others, I have a problem with the amount of mobile data that this application consumes - even just in the background. Last month, it cost me and my wife a whole bundle of data in a matter of days - 20gb ín total for both. Today I noticed 700mb of data transfer since this morning and I wasn't even in the app. I just got a few alerts with a picture that I didn't even open. So I quit the app immediately and I won't use it until the problem is fixed. And by the way, we already have the same experience reported from several clients for whom we do IT management. So this is not an error in my private installation or on our phones.

Be careful while using this app on mobile data plan. Even if the app is closed on the background, it consumes mobile data (must be enabled for notifications,…). Today lost all my data in 3hours (10gb) with 3 cameras on the synology. There is no option “disable video on the mobile data”.
