There is some serious problem when I try to connect it to my di2. It never showed up . Rubbishy

Take note if you plan to update the app, app kept on crashed and unable to load up! Running on both iOS 15.1 and 16.0.3 both version Now am stucked unable to go into the e-tube make adjustment!

Connected the first time and then can’t connect ever again in iOS platform...had to bring bike down to shop and get it done with them.

I cant seem to connect to my wireless unit Everytime i try to connect my phone is able to identify the wireless unit but when i go to try to connect via Bluetooth it always says Bluetooth connection interrupted. I have tried at least 20 times and heres the thing the first time i tried connecting the wireless unit to my phone it worked but than after the app prompted me to update the wireless unit the update got interrupted halfway through and after that i cant seem to connect again

This app is the Bain of my existence! It rarely connects and even then is painful to use. Also, why have it separated from E-TUBE Ride? I can always connect to that worthless app, but it has no functionality other than recording a ride, which is of little importance since that basic functionality is EVERYwhere. I want to be able to quickly connect to my bikes - every single time - be able to easily make adjustments and updates, and see analysis. How hard is this?!??

Difficult to connect: sometimes it connects easily, sometimes it doesn’t. Plus it’s only one button on the derailleurs so if you struggle to connect and push it repeatedly, you can accidentally change modes. Also the most prominent thing should be battery health. It’s also just 5 simple green bars for the derailleurs and a single green light for the shifters. And passing along a warning: my LBS made it very clear to not try updating via the app. They get back bricked bikes all the time from people trying.

All takes way too long to connect. But then, after the update a few months ago, it produced an E203 error on my 801 that can’t be cleared! 😡

It is nearly impossible to find this app by searching your phone if you have it installed. I have to go to the App Store every time I need it because the name is so bad. Try searching “di2” or “Shimano” no results. Why would I remember it is called e-tube?

I use this app to update the Shimano components on my MTB, and to make power adjustments. It works well for that, however I would like to see integration for Apple Watch Workouts pushed to my bike. With watchOS one can connect via Bluetooth to “health devices” under Settings>Bluetooth>Health Devices, but my MTB does not show up. It would be sweet if this integration was added so it would link to outdoor cycle workout, and so all of my exercise info is in one place - the Health app on iOS.

I don’t get why this app is rated so poorly. One quick YouTube video and i was able to navigate the app and everything worked perfectly as advertised. Ultegra Di2 is my first electric group and it’s super impressive the way you can customize everything to your liking.
