iOS problem

Why not iOS 13.4.1! Very bad that the app is not updated!

Buggy but convenient to have

Poor translation to English and weird settings for Bluetooth password. Overall a project which needs improvement. I would like to trust the app as much as I trust Shimano hardware.

iOS 13

Doesn’t work with iOS 13 at all. Took me a while to figure that out since it just keeps loading in the app. Finally tried a third device with iOS 12 still on it and that worked. Come on. Keep the app updated... Also while you’re at it. Create a Mac app. It’s not 2006 where everyone except for designers are using windows.

Absolute garbage and dangerous

Shimano make great bike hardware but fail so miserably when it comes to software. The app detected my d-fly system and offered to update the firmware of the Di2 system which I foolishly accepted. I kept the phone near the bike and let the upgrade proceed without closing the app or doing anything else with the phone .. until it suddenly said the connection was lost after which point the whole Di2 system was dead. Luckily, luckily removing the battery and reconnecting seemed to rectify it .. but I will not be using the fw update this way again. You should be ashamed, shimano, offering such a poor quality app for such expensive kit !!

Crappy app

Why bother building an app that doesn’t work? Very lame of Shimano.

Crashes when connecting

As soon as im connected to my gear-system, it tells me to create a password to avoid 3:rd party, and when i go into typing mode, the app crashes
