First class service highly recommended
Always coax you in with better prices than other apps, you’ll click a cab that’s ‘1 minute away’ next thing you know you’re stood in the rain for 10 minutes waiting for a guy to finish a ride the other end of town
Drivers details provided and tracked on the App. Our driver arrived early and helped us with our luggage. A very safe driver and clean/comfortable car. Would recommend and use again.
I love the way you can order your cab and watch it every step of the way, price great @€12.60. I asked the price from a normal cabbie who quoted €29. I said it’s too much and showed him my eCab quote. He instantly dropped his price to €20. We both knew he was attempting to rip me off. Love this ECabs idea
Every time I try and sign up and create an account, the app says it needs more information at the email stage even though I’ve filled the only box there is and accepted all the conditions. Please fix this asap! I’m sure it would be a great app if I could actually complete the sign up to use it!!!
The app’s functionality is poor and the call center is always busy
Used three times, first time was fine, second time the app advised a few minutes for pickup, then it was bounced to many drivers and eventually said a 15 minute wait; as the driver was coming towards us after 15minutes (extra 5mins on top of estimate before arrival) the driver dropped the job, presumably they got a better job from our location on uber or bolt as their drivers tend to have multiple apps running, and then another driver was offered the ride who was 15mins away again, so I cancelled the ride after waiting too long already and got picked up immediately by bolt. The app charged a cancellation fee because it seems this third or fourth driver another 15mins away accepted the ride. I disputed this charge via chat and email, to no response. Tried calling, and faced an excessive wait so gave up. How about my "cancellation fee" for drivers wasting my time skipping my booking and expecting me to wait 30mins for a 3min estimated pickup time? Finally, I gave them one last chance for a journey to the port to gozo, the driver was texting while driving and took personal calls, and when we got over a km away as he was following his GPS we got to a road closure not indicated on waze. He didn't know what to do, and pulled over and told us to walk in the direction of the port through the roadworks. He failed to see diversion signs and an alternative route to get us to where we want, we had to walk 20minutes and the fare price wasn't automatically adjusted. I complained about this ride in review on the app, and once again, no feedback via any method. On return from Gozo, we went back via Uber instead having learned our lesson twice now, and that driver had no issues with the roadworks. All in all, a very poor experience with no customer service to be found via any contact method. I held off sending this review in hope they would resolve my complaints within a week, which I feel is ample time, but they have not.
Back in Malta again and using Ecabs for all our travel needs. Fast , efficient, quality service. I’m now recommending Ecabs to other visitors! Thanks Ecabs!
