EconomyBookings - Car Rental

I booked a car through Economy Bookings with Priceless Car Rental in Tampa, Florida. Upon arrival at the rental office, they refused to provide the vehicle without a credit card. After calling Economy Bookings customer support, the agent suggested asking the rental company to approve a name change to a person traveling with me who had a credit card and driver’s license. The rental company refused. I experienced terrible customer service, was involved in confrontations, and was even accused of fraud by others in line. After another call to Economy Bookings, the representative advised me to email their customer support to request a refund. After waiting for a month with no clear response, I called again and was told that no refund would be issued. As a result of using Economy Bookings, I lost $480, had to pay for a taxi to get from the Priceless Car Rental office (where I was denied service) to my hotel, and my vacation was ruined. I strongly advise against using either of these companies.

They removed the option for choosing the country of residence. Too bad. Have to say goodbye and never use them again

They scam me with insurance, I rented the car in Mexico, and this company's insurance is useless, I paid for it and when I got to pick up the vehicle they force you to get another one because their insurance is not valid in Mexico, they know it's a scam and promote the insurance as if it would cover me, do not use this app, the customer service is bad, I called and they hung up on me, I wrote more than 10 emails and nothing, don't get scammed, I wrote the worst!, I have experience with other apps, better use Expedia, they wanted me to cancel 24 hours in advance, and how did they want me to cancel? if I was not in the country and I did not count on that surprise!

Do not book with them , they are a total scam. Find a different company . **Update** Me and my family were was stranded at the airport because of their incompetence and unprofessional management. They refuse to help me. Money is not the issue; you advertise 1 car on your website and then when you get there, they give you a smaller different car. Where am I suppose to put my infant and toddlers on the roof of the car? Middle of the night your staffing answer was “at this point we can not help you sir please file a claim on the website” when you are with your little kids trying to get to the hotel for their Disney trip. Worse experience ever and total scammers!!! You can keep my money but you wont get far in life by ripping people off. Do not put your family at risk with these scammers!!!!

This place is a goldmine for finding great deals. I’ve had an amazing experience so far. Thanks a lot for your excellent service.

Beware of Fraudulent Charges – Terrible Customer Service! I booked a rental car through EconomyBookings, but I never picked up the vehicle, yet they still charged me $844 without any proper response or justification. Despite multiple follow-ups, their customer support kept delaying my case and ultimately refused to issue a refund, citing their “non-refundable policy.” I understand cancellation policies, but charging a customer for a car they never collected is completely unethical. When I asked for proof of pickup or any valid explanation, I received generic responses with no real resolution. This company is clearly taking advantage of customers and hiding behind unfair policies. If you’re considering booking through them, think twice! Their lack of transparency and refusal to address legitimate concerns shows that they are not a trustworthy company. I am now disputing the charge with my bank and reporting them to consumer protection agencies. I booked a rental through Economy for Dollar Rental in Sarasota FL. I have never rented a car before and don’t use credit cards or credit, I just use cash and live debt free. When I got to the airport I was early enough to cancel but Dollar rental said Economy should move the funds to another rental there that doesn’t require a credit card so I attempted to call Economy. It took over forever to navigate the automated system and strange in line at another rental agency to even get ahold of someone and when I did the customer service pretty much told me to pound sand. Economy offered zero flexibility or willingness to help, has an awful phone prompt, offered no assistance in refunding me anything and no offer to help with getting a car through my rental. They are absolutely the awful and I’m tempted to take them to court for processing my debit card and not being clear about which rental companies require a credit card vs debit. This cost me several hours and at a minimum $450, if not much more when this is fair and done. I despise them.

I was charged about $800 for the car. I picked one car and it needed an oil change and the front symbol was missing. The second truck I went back to get the first truck I got in, the tire was going flat so I told them I didn’t want that I’m going on a trip and don’t wanna be stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire. I also told them it’s snowing outside and the break life said 18%. So they gave me another truck that I had to pay for an upgrade which was $111 which was fine. But then when I got to work they charged my card again for another $129 and had to go back and get another truck because that truck tires where bad and it was driving like the back tires where no good. So I will never rent with them again. I got the runaroun from E Booking and they kept my money after I never got a car

This app crashed every time I opened. My booking got cancelled for no apparent reason. Never book using this site or app.
