This is a complete scam, after a few weeks of having the app I realised that it’s merely a mood tracker and sent a cancellation request and deleted the app. 6 months later 2 payments have gone off my account. I requested a refund and keep getting the run around or no response. Don’t waste your time!
I was really interested in this app, but it’s downloadable as “Free, with in-app purchases”. Which usually means it is an app with free features and additional premium, paid features. Nope, not this allegedly helpful app. You create an account and begin the customisation process, and then to access ANY features, you must subscribe (for quite the fee at that). Disappointing and false advertising. App store should NOT have it listed as “Free”.
If you dont pay via apple or google they make you write an email to cancel knowing you will procrastinate or forget
The lessons are EXTREMELY text heavy. Definitely not for this ADHD mind.. Deleted…
Struggling a bit with working the app
There is nothing personalised about this app or ADHD management programme. They are scammers who are capitalising on and taking advantage of people looking to better themselves. Disgusting. Google more reviews about them — do not waste your money!
This is a poor app which despite being deleted continues to take money from my account
As you install the app it asks you what subscription you want. No free option. Can’t tell you anything more than that but would be nice to be upfront about costs 👌🏻
- I highly recommend this app. One week in and I’m really benefitting from the app so far, gaining useful insights into my habits, moods and triggers. - It is really detailed, offering a solid foundation for what to pay attention to, and being able to add so many custom trackers is great for personalising the experience. - Doesn’t take long to get the hang of how to use it. - Very responsive customer service - The onboarding call is useful, but it is best to be prepared for it by spending time with the app beforehand and really trying to understand what you want from it, otherwise the call may feel a bit redundant. - For ADHD users who struggle to keep up with the check-ins I recommend using another habit tracker app simultaneously, as an extra reminder and motivator to check in with Effecto. - Sometimes the app crashes when I try to open it as it seems to be very dependent on internet connectivity, which can be a challenge in my location. Unfortunately this means I can’t always track my mood at the right time and if I want to log that data I have to do it later or the next day, which is not so accurate and can be time consuming to try to remember what I did and how I was feeling. Less dependence on internet connection would benefit users in developing countries.
Awaiting the personalized ADHD plan and onboarding with neurologist meeting before writing proper review. Currently what I have access to is app, which is mood, behavior, habit tracker etc, and some experiments. Haven’t found any ADHD specific content on the app so I am hoping the meeting will help me understand that.
