Subscription Pricing and Terms

Effecto offers two auto-renewing subscription options:
$29.99 every 3 months
$59.99 per year (that's $4.99 a month)

Payments and Renewal:
- Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your Account settings at any time after purchase
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active period.

These prices are for United States customers. Pricing in other countries may vary and actual charges may be converted to your local currency depending on the country of residence.

The subscription will automatically renew unless turned off in your iTunes Account Settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can go to your iTunes Account settings to manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew. Your iTunes Account will be charged when the purchase is confirmed. If you subscribe before your free trial ends, the rest of your free trial period will be forfeited as soon as your purchase is confirmed.

Rip off to take advantage of people with ADHD

Don’t go anywhere near this app. They have dodgy billing processes and you will get nasty surprise when they withdraw money from you out of nowhere and their support team will do nothing. They are taking advantage of the traits of those with ADHD with fine print that locks you in without you knowing. The app does nothing except remind you to drink water.

Scammy app, nothing like the ad

They catch your attention with an app that promises a lot, and it requires you to commit to pay via PayPal (not Apple subscription). You can only request an account cancellation via email, and finding this information on their website is quite hard. They charge in advance for a whole year and will refuse to refund if you cancel immediately after the charge. There’s a Reddit thread dedicated to their scammy practices. Don’t waste your money, don’t feed the scammers.

Abysmal

Just found out that this app has billed me for. A second year in a row. I did not receive an introduction call to assist me and I’m also having informed that I’m not entitled to a refund - BUYER BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM!!!

Terrible and watch for ongoing charges

App isn’t great and if you cancel via iTunes they still charge you. You need to email direct to cancel. Would not recommend.

Let down

I have tried to cancel this and there is no where to cancel! I can’t even find it on my subscriptions! By far the biggest let down of an app. I’m not sure how they can even associate this with ADHD when there is so much to look at and no helpful routine or structure.

No onboarding, hard to cancel

Booked an onboarding appointment, and the person never showed up. I purchased it through the website and am having trouble cancelling it. I may need to cancel the entire credit card to cancel this subscription

Not at all what was expected

Just a tracker for all the things I don’t care about. Not what was expected from how they marketed it. 👎

Doesn’t Work

I was very excited to try this app but I was left disappointed. It’s basically an app that tracks symptoms without giving any insight. Much improvement required.
