What a buggy app.. suddenly the date scrolling just disappears.. tried many solutions as directed by the app’s in chat with “concierge”. Well I just wasted hours and $7 monthly sign up. I would not recommend this app. It’s very restrictive to edit and once you submit it to a report you can’t edit or change or edit or go back. It’s gone forever and you are stuck. Exasperated tired and extremely disappointed. Back to good ole manual and excel sheets..

So easy to use !

It’s been a terrible experience

No support outside of the app

User for a year. Worked fine to begin with. Then, an update. App no longer scans receipts. Has been an issue for 3 months. After hours on chat, all they can suggest is I enter in manually. What’s the point of the app? Reporting incident to regulator.

The app logs you out regularly. To log in again, the send a code to my email, so I have to sign in to my email. This is manageable but so much slower than using a username, password, and OTP via my password manager. This frustrates me every week or two.

App doesn’t keep you logged in. Infuriating. Need to receive an emailed code every login, even with 2FA off. Horrible.

The new magic link login makes Expensify practically unusable. I don’t have my work email on my phone, so I can’t receive the login link unless I’m in front of my computer. So no more uploading travel receipts as I go - which used to be the biggest benefit of Expensify

The free trial was great but after expiry I couldn’t access all my scanned receipts. They only showed a blurry preview. Not cool. Lost tons of money in tax return because of this.
