User friendly, easiest way to submit expenses

I get a total, but you can’t even get a report showing your expenses by category. This was a total waste of my time.

App is garbage, glitchy and clunky. Not user friendly at all. Would definitely recommend something better to handle taxes and expenses for a small business

It takes FOREVER to get help from customer service. A company as big as this one should have people that you can call or video chat immediately to get quick answers and solutions to their product. Emailing/chatting their concierge doesn’t do it for me.

It says waiting for me to fix issues but refuses to tell me what they are.? All catagories entered Why can’t things just work?

The Expensify app is unnecessarily hard to use. My company has two different policies under which I’m supposed to submit expenses. When I send in a receipt the bot invariably chooses the wrong one, and switching policies requires an arcane combination of clicks. Furthermore, there is a field determined by my department that I need to enter manually each time. It’s always the same value. If AI can scan a receipt and fill in all the other fields, why is it so damned hard to pre fill this value they I have to set EVERY SINGLE TIME? I wish my company would switch to a different provider and ditch Expensify.

When you upload pictures of receipts sometimes it doesn’t upload right away and it shows you a? When you’re on the main list of expenses. Also, please add a feature that allows you to browse your files in addition to your pictures when uploading a receipt.

Makes expenses so much easier with taking pics of receipts right in the app, etc

Every single month there’s problems on Expensify website and every single month tech-support will ask me to clear my browser, cash and cookies or try another computer or browser. Eventually, the website will report it has issues, but until then, the honest is on you to fix the issue yourself from your machine. I find it very aggravating to use Expensify. Unfortunately, it’s my companies choice of accounting database. This has been going on for years now.
