Good Solution for Connectivity When Travelling
As a Canadian this is a simple and less expensive solution to the $15/day roaming charges. No need to search for a local SIM card. Simple to use and subscribe to. Pay for only what you need. Easy to top up. Not the cheapest but probably the easiest. Download an e-sim, select your package before you leave on wifi and turn roaming off on your home sim. I've been using this service for a few years now and I had an issue getting connected recently. Customer service was very responsive. Issue resolved on in under an hour all by email.

Great plans and service !
So there might be cheaper alternatives around for data plans on the go but I went with Gigsky based on what I read. Works exactly as advertised, very easy to use and straight forward. But why I encourage anyone to go with Gigsky is I had a problem or two when I was travelling (through no fault of Gigsky directly) and the support team was amazing at helping me solve them in super quick fashion. Give them a shot, highly recommend it.
Not what I expected
I’m really disappointed. I bought the day only 800mb package, installed it, and it wouldn’t connect. I had an active cellular SIM in the phone and it still wouldn’t activate. Now I’m out $5USD for nothing.
