Part of our complete GPS ecosystem, the Lezyne Ally app is the key link between your phone and your Lezyne GPS device. The free app features the latest interactive and real-time technologies designed to enhance your cycling experience. Once paired to one of our GPS devices, you'll enjoy easy device customization, wireless ride syncing, route loading and mapping, and so much more. Experience effortless navigation, import .tcx and .gpx files, and connect cycling routes directly through the application. Additionally, the app is an easy-to-use resource to instantly save, store, and review rides from the palm of your hand. Activities can then be auto-synced to third party apps such as Strava, Komoot, Relive, TrainingPeaks, and more, as well as shared to popular social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter.

With the Lezyne Ally app, you can also take advantage of our Lezyne Track feature. When enabled, simply create a list of email addresses in the app and those recipients will then be notified every time you start a ride. These notification emails will include a link to our live tracking website where coaches, friends, and loved ones can keep track of where you are and see all of your ride metrics.

This app is for use with Lezyne Y10 and newer GPS Devices (2017 Model Year and newer).
Please use the Ally V1 app with Y9 GPS devices (With a silver bezel).

Abandonware

App is dated even a decade ago this app would have been behind the curve. Horrible interface - just about works but not an easy to navigate tool or overly reliable either.

Award for the worst app imminent

If there was such a thing as a worst app award this one would win hands down. If I would list all things wrong with this app I could write a book but I will not bother like the app developers did not bother with the app at all. Just an example. Maybe it is even intentional and if so I would be delighted, because it shows at least they have a brain. Every time I connect the device with the app and I want to import the gpx file to the device, it asks me if on mobile or cloud ( note it says on mobile not iPhone, how subtle!) and it is dark blue on black (with dark mode so you can barely read lol!) Then the best part. Every time the pop up window come with the possibility to edit titke and description and it is prepopulated with ex morning ride etc. EVERY SINGLE TIME I tap on the done button and in the split moment I do so the whole pop up goes up a notch to show the keyboard and I tap the editing field INSTEAD! This makes the prepopulated text go away so that when I tap on the done button again I get the error: need text in the description field… hahaha amazing how well it is timed. So I need to enter text and press done! 😂 This is just one of the fun things. There is so much that it is just outrageous 😛

Useless updates

Every time you get an update it gets worse. Unable to upload komoot tour to mega xl gps. Tried 10 times and still says "something went wrong". Next time cant see gps on iphone 11 pro max, shows gps in app, but doesnt work. Back in a days it was working with no issues... takes ages after on and off both devices to get working...

Progress

This is coming on in leaps and bounds. Overall, the lezyne GPS ecosystem is a bit more complicated to use than a Garmin, but if you take the time to learn the intricacies then it’s very powerful. I did a two month solo tour using a Mega XL and my phone for all routing and only once did I have trouble. Pleased to see the app continues to improve.

Not before time

I’ve used my GPS for 5 years and always found it reliable. This latest update April 22 is superb. Everything working quickly with a clear interface. Shame the app was like this 5 years as you’d then see a lot more Lezyne users. Only bug is it’s lost the ability to enter max HR hopefully that will be fixed soon

Version 5 had broken Sync to Cloud

This app worked hassle free for years. Then after a year without any updates along came ver 5.xxx and now trying to Sync to Cloud after a ride is infuriating. No progress %age, no indicator at all that it’s syncing. And the App keeps crashing when trying too. Can we have ver 4.xxx back please.

Fancy front end but deficiencies

The main drawback with this update is that there is no indication as whether you are successfully connected to your device which was made clear in the previous version. The fancy opening screen does not make up for this.

New version is just as awful as the last one

One of the worst iOS apps I’ve used. I could put up with it if it at least let me export the rides to another app using a standard share sheet.

Constant error stating no internet connection

This is very annoying as I cannot upload any rides. App returns “ERROR:CHECK INTERNET CONNECTION “ I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled but to no avail! How can this be rectified (as I clearly gave an internet connection!!!)

Not intuitive

Works ok but surprisingly awkward using the app. I don’t use it every day just about able to get by. Seems to have me going back and forth in app do what I want
