This app needs a lot of work with lots of bugs. Translation doesn’t work, despite the functionality looking like it’s there. If you find a nice place you like you’ll need to find it in the web version to translate language. The app also logs users out fairly often so you need to log back in. It’s also crashed on me a couple of times where I have to shut it down, log in again. Particularly seems to crash when looking at photos. So yeah, not impressed at all.
Love this app!! Has completely revolutionised our travel opportunities and saved us thousands of dollars.
I have over 30 messages back and forth of me applying for stays at open homes with people declining for multiple reasons. I’ve also declined people for different reasons. So it’s just a back and forth game of messages where no one actually exchanges homes because no one’s willing to host. Think of a better system.
App needs work, not user friendly sometimes. Over all it’s a great way for cheap holidays.
Joined home exchange last year, love the concept and guest points idea. BUT the app needs work. From major problems like looping on my iPad to not saving my half completed message while I check other details on other pages of the app or other apps on my device. Works well on my iPhone 6S, though small niggly problems and could have much better features to help with managing messages and exchange bookings.
It does not have the ability to respond to an error. Every time I do something it appears to not like eg use more than 100 letters for a title it just freezes. So I have to delete the app and re download. It does not like my address, insists I have the google address which is not correct and once again it freezes. That is right.... I have to delete the app again and reload and try something else. I give up!
I want to hide my listing but it’s not obvious how I do this- I’ve searched and search and just keep going in circles To the same place
We used to love this website app and organised a great home exchange but since merging with new company the new app is terrible and not at all user friendly. Very disappointed
Since this company was sold and the website changed it has become a disaster. The website is ridiculously unfriendly and the help staff don’t know the answers. If you want to find a points exchanger you must go via guests wanted. Can’t be done on an iPad or iPhone unless by the app which doesn’t really work at all. Try Lovehomeswap.com
They have taken all the worst features of LoveHomeSwap and added them to a previously brilliant site that worked well. Why do I feel it is an offshoot of Airbnb for the get rich quick merchants?
