Great system
Had the aqua link remote system for 10 years still going strong easy to install works great!
Goes offline every time it rains
I lose wifi connection for iAquaLink every time it rains. Calling support is always a challenge to get a live person. You always have to wait for a callback hours later.
Works like a charm
I would have give the the application 5 stars if after a power failure the system would resume to the schedule. Integrates with Alexa, remote connection is a must these days, and I love getting my spa running ahead of getting home from my golf game.
Pretty good
The app is decent but I have had issues where it’s looses connectivity and I have to log out and log back in to reconnect. Hopefully this update might fix that issues. An Apple Watch app would also be great.
Programming and Install
Just put 1.85 HP VS in. So far so good. East to follow instructions. Nice to control the pool pump from the palm of your hand (anywhere).
So disappointing
I sold my non WiFi pool robot to get the WiFi one and I regret it. This app sucks. I have a big pool so I need to run the robot for 3.5 hours at least (maximum time allowed) but the app defaults to 1:15. I have to press the +15 min button 9 times and wait 3 seconds between presses for it to register so it takes me 30 seconds of app use to turn the damn thing on! What a piece of crap. It has a section for pre programmed cleaning tasks but it doesn’t let you add any personal programming? This app is less than half baked. What a rip off.
Needs Notifications
The app is okay, not great. iOS 15 seems to be very glitchy with the web module. I assume that will get fixed soon, was fine on iOS 14. What would make it better is notifications. I’d really like it to notify me when my robot is full or done cleaning. Notify me when the temperature I set on the pool is reached. It’s a bit of a pain to have all this automation without the proactive monitoring that would come with notifications.
Offline
Goes offline so often! Very frustrating. I have to go into Service mode to turn on/off the pump, waterfall, heater, or the lights. Also, the website fails very often. Trying to program schedules for the pump or lights times out all the time, so I have to do it manually instead. Wifi is not the problem. I have tried multiple phones. The problem is the cheap system.
