HOW IT WORKS
Heart rate variability is a proven window into the body’s nervous system, going beyond a simple resting heart rate (RHR) measure. Please also note that this HRV app is NOT a heart rate monitor app, which people use during exercise. The ithlete app is an app that uses heart rate variability to indicate your state of fatigue, recovery and readiness to train following a 1 minute morning measure, and it is not used during the actual exercise.

Outil tres prometteur et deja excellent a mon sens. La mesure de la variabilité de l intervalle r-r etait reservé aux cardiofrequencemetre les plus chers a ma connaissance. Il est possible avec une fisica ant et hrv tracker d en obtenir des mesures mais j ignore la qualité de celles ci et r-r semble assez difficile a mesurer correctement. MyIthlete propose pour 80€ un cardio capable de mesurer r-r sur votre iphone. Et pour 8€ de plus, ce logiciel en deduit un indice de forme au quotidien. Sur du long terme c est juste incroyable d avoir acces a cet indicateur. En fonction de la direction de l indice, on a tendance a adapter ses efforts au quotidien/programme d entrainement. On voit notre etat de forme et la gestion de notre recuperation. L indice n est pas d une precision atomique mais donne une tres bonne idee de la direction que prend le corps. Pour ma part, a chaque ressenti correspond une variation de l indice du meme ordre de grandeur. Le logiciel ne permet pas de visualiser r-r en temps reel ou son historique. Pas encore d apres la team :-) C est une fonctionnalite que j aimerais beaucoup voir apparaitre afin de visualiser concretemment l impact et l efficacite de mes techniques de recuperation. Mais myithlete et ses graphiques font dores et deja partie de mon quotidien en l etat.
