I use copilot a lot, and the text is in Markup language. This does not sit well with iPad Word, so this great interim solution will take the text then export to Docx files all perfectly formatted. Excellent!
It’s called pro but doesn’t any anyway to add side notes and there’s not even a word count. I just assumed there would be a word count before I paid for it. That’s a must for me so I can count how many words I do each day. Also on the preview video the edit features pop up on the bottom but I have no idea how to bring that up. I couldn’t figure it out.
I use this on my iPhone, iPods and on my Mac mini M1. It’s a brilliant text editor which I use for my businesses. It never lets me down.
The automatic dark mode no longer works since the new update. It’s my only gripe. Setting it to Dark keeps it Dark irrespective of the iOS setting. And setting it to light does the same with light.
Really great app. It’s pretty, has a huge range of key commands (much appreciated), and is very customisable. The only thing lacking that I’d like to see is text highlighting. I’d love to be able to change the colour of text, or highlight text to differentiate it amongst a large document. Thanks!
iWriter is fast, stylish and uncluttered. The one thing missing is automatic backup to Dropbox/ other cloud based storage. Add that and this is easily a 5 star app. Nic
For me iWriter Pro steps into a gap. I need clear, easy to read speaking notes with quick and rock-solid navigation (for references and recaps) and iWriter Pro gives me this where so many notes apps fall down. Excellent sync between desktop and mobile apps. Unlike many apps which don’t make interface adjustments for screen resolution and offer microscopic text on mobiles — Apple Pages a glaring example — I can edit my notes on desktop and read them easily on iPad and iPhone. With MultiMarkdown enabled, TOC and jump links are a breeze. The developer is super-responsive. This is five star quality development.
I downloaded the pro version and in the process of trying to open and add my first letter of my document, the rate this app window appears rather than the ability to functionally use this app.
I've been long searching for a multi-markdown app with navigational support (jump to headers) as I write quite long documents. Also I wanted a search function to be built-in (rather than just a plugin/add-on). iWriter Pro comes with both of these features and offers a very clean and well thought out interface as well plus Dropbox and iCloud integration. Worth every penny spent on it!
