Arrived with a damaged pin plug so till date still waiting for replacement despite numerous requests to creator. No action taken by kickstarter support:(

Different Payment Method

The app runs smoothly, would be good if it allows different payment methods.(Banking Apps)

No protection for pledger

Pledged a project and did not receive the item 8 months after projected timeline. Creator did not provide any updates for months. What did kickstarter do? Nothing. No refunds, because "the money goes directly to the creator. How convenient.

Worst Plateform

This the worst platform without protection to the backers, it’s a Scammer platform. If there is anything happened, Kickstart does not take action nor takes up any responsibility. Kickstarter only push the responsibility to Creator, so if Creator is a scammer, good luck to the backers. It did happened, the Lifted Lumba which I pledged $209, but now they are asking $250 for shipping, all backers in difference Countries are very frustrated.

Please work on customer trust for funded campaigns

I know kickstarter campaigns are a hit or miss. After so many years as a platform, kickstarter should look into customer trust and assurance. Funded campaigns that don’t deliver an end product shouldn’t be allowed access to their money. Don’t waive off responsibility as a platform.

Nice platform but depends on developer/company

I had an avid supporter of kickstarter but some products were not that great which is fine since it could be a hit and miss. Recently had one that didn’t deliver at all and disappointed that kickstarter doesn’t do much to validate on the seller or company. Not really blaming the app but kickstarter can do more to ensure that supporters are not swindled of their money.

Many scam projects, just lost near $200 SGD on one of the projects.

Is Kickstarter really better than Indiegogo ? I already have 5 projects that’s is pending in Kickstarter that have not completed and delayed and not arrived yet. Kickstarter never do anything on them . Should I assumed that these projects are in Kickstarter are scams? Always delayed and no updated.

Seems all to frequently supposed projects take your money, don’t provide updates and there is no recourse as happened with Thrive, be careful

Backers are helpless when encounter scammer

Backers on Kickstarter are helpless when project campaign is or intentionally being a scam. No proper channel that backer can insure their money, trust and supports to project kickstarters from scammers. Kickstarter shall bear same amount of risks to prevent scammer from taking all funds and fled. For the least, raised funds shall not be released 100% at once to scammers.
