Have allowed many people to be scammed and won't do anything about it because they have their money already. Have supported several projects but never again on this platform.

Watch out for scam havens on this app/site. Numerous backers have been swindled by scammers where Kickstarter allow products to be promoted where there is no due diligence prior to confirm actual product. They hold no funding back in milestone payments based on activity. All I am saying is beware, check the creator and viability yourself.

It’s a very good app! My ONLY problem is that you only receive rewards if it’s funded. But even then it’s a double edge sword as it has a purpose: making sure the creators aren’t in that weird spot where people have donated, but they don’t have enough money. But overall I think it’s VERY good for backers looking to help out and creators looking to create!

Nice App. Easy to use and good alerts and controls. I’d love to be able to filter my backed projects by ones that have completed (rewards received) and ones that are still open or in flight. Can you please add that?

They don’t seem to care if the perk is made and delivered because they’ve made their cut $$$. They even back projects based on popularity knowing they'll make a tonne of cash and it won’t be made. Very little integrity.

I just got the app to write a rubbish review. Never going to back a project again. I have used Kickstarter where I got scammed along with 1800 other people for a total of around two hundred thousand dollars. I am sure the app is great and will open up a lot more people to the risk of losing their money just like I did. Fortunately I got busy and missed the deadline to fund another campaign which also went badly so that’s a win.

Why the downgrade?

While this app is slick and easy to navigate, the latest change is a real downgrade in user experience. You can no longer see the full details page, only the promo video and the pledge levels. I got one won’t be pledging without being able to see the full details. I’m sure most backers want to be able to assess the project and do more of a deep dive before placing their hard earned cash.

New mobile format is irritating

The previous format where you could view more information clearly (like when you want to update a pledge by seeing if/when new tiers arrive) was much better I don’t understand a format which limits an amount of information or where you have to perform more actions to see what was already there It wasn’t broken - why try to fix it??
