Advertised as a “free app” but not free at all!
Saw an advertisement for this app stating it was a “free app” but it’s not free at all. You can only view what’s on the app but to read anything or watch any videos, it makes you sign up for premium. Waste of time. Would give 0 stars if I could.
No free features anymore! Disappointed!
I used to be able to update my son’s progress & view certain things for free but since the most recent update it’s only a premium feature. Basically you can’t do anything in the app now for free. So no point downloading it unless you can afford to pay for premium.
Milestones for Money
I used to be able to track and update my baby’s progress and milestones for free, but since the update it’s now considered a premium feature only. So disappointed
Actual cost is $110 - a bit of a scam that they don’t tell you upfront
Only after you download it and give them all your private details do they actually let you know it costs $110 per year, with only a 7-day free trial. I would call that a scam - concealing the actual prove from users.
Taking money out!
Why are you taking money out of my account? I can’t seem to see a subscription in my sub subscription area in my App Store! I only used this app for two days to try it out and I’ve been charged again! You say to cancel via App Store but there is no subscription there! When I went to cancel subscription on app after digging and digging to find it you locked me out of my account and every time I try change password you tell me you sent an email and you didn’t! You’re a very deceiving app
Soooooo expensive
This may a useful app, but the very steep price is a barrier for most families being able to afford it. Such a shame.
Activities not great, customer service very poor
I really liked the concept of this app so I downloaded it and paid for a yearly subscription. However, I found the activities are not challenging enough for my son. My son is meeting all of his milestones a little bit early or on time, so he is not super advanced or anything. Nonetheless, the app asks you to confirm list after list of which milestones they have reached and I have wasted so much time doing this, only to be recommended ideas that are boring for him/not engaging because the difficulty level is so low. My son is 14 months old and I still get recommended activities like “Sitting - to help your baby reach the sitting positions” when he is so beyond that. He is running! And I have updated that in the milestones page too! I contacted Kinedu and they didn’t assist me by providing more challenging activities/suggestions and refused to refund me even a partial amount of the subscription cost that I paid. Since I have paid for it, I have logged back in from time to time over the past couple of months and updated the milestones pages, but the activities are just not good. Furthermore, I found that most of the activities require some kind of set up which makes the app not practical to just whip out on a rainy day with your child and start an activity straight away. You have to watch the videos for the activity and since we don’t do screens with our son, I found it hard to watch them with him around. I could be wrong but I think this app is designed for younger babies, maybe 0-6 months old. However, that’s the stage where they get fascinated by lying under a tree looking at the leaves and a kitchen utensil like a spatula is the best thing they’ve ever seen, so I personally wouldn’t pay for the subscription then either.
Bad customer service
I have paid for premium but mu content is still locked. It was open but then it got locked. No one is answering my emails.
Unable to unsubscribe to emails
I get constant emails from this app despite unsubscribing multiple times. Very frustrating!
