To make it easier than ever to find the desired gadget instrument, we have revised the Gadget Browser and added various functions. New features include displaying gadgets by instrument category, a Favourites function that allows you to group your favorite gadgets, and a search function that allows you to freely search for sounds in each gadget. Using the program search function, it is now possible to quickly and easily preview and search for the sound you wanted from a vast array of sounds.

Nice gadgets

Love the gadgets some amazing sounds here, but if it’s possible to make the audiounits that we don’t own not show up in the host it would be great, also some kind of different icons or something so we could see what gadget it is when AUM only shows the icon would be really useful.

I don't usually write reviews…

...but, with this one, I must. It is single-handedly the main reason why I still make music. I found it on accident from the Nintendo Switch e-shop, after years and years of using massive DAWs, this was a breath of fresh air. I fell in love with it so hard that I had to buy it for macOS, iPad, and iOS also. It's great how it syncs between these devices. It sure has its drawbacks but I'll forgive them since this is a product with a vision, that's rare these days. I sure hope KORG keeps updating it though, I don't want it to fade away.

No iPad keyboard shortcuts

Great music app! Support for the iPad smart keyboard, like shortcuts (record, play, move notes...), would make it even greater!

Now perfect

The iPad app is brilliant. Of course, zeroing dial values by double-clicking them would be nice, but all in all, this is a KORGeous sounding full-fledged music studio that is with you everywhere you can take your iPad. It's not cheap, but well worth it, and you can buy the modules one at a time. It is just a pity that Gadget for OSX is so expensive. Would be a pair for iPad, now I won't consider it.

A solid music making platform

If you like Propellerheads Reason, the Korg Gadget offers a similar experience. Plenty of instruments to use, easy to use sequencer. The included sounds, especially samples are surprisingly good. You can also export your creations in both audio and MIDI. Only shortcomings of this app are limited mixing features (no eqs/compressors) and no ext. FX. Also, the MIDI input is not multitimbral, which is a shame.

Ohjelma sisäiset ostokset jumissa

Tämähän on ihan mukava ohjelma elektronisen musan vääntämiseen. Toimintalogiikka on oikeastaan aika kätevä, kunhan siihen tottuu. Pisteet pudottaa se, että ohjelman sisällä sikahintaan ostettuja lisämoduuleja ei jonkin ohjelmointivirheen takia saa enää käyttöön. Tästä ovat monet kommentoineet Korgin forumilla jo pitkään, ja asiaan ei ole tullut korjausta. Tehkää lisäostoksia siis harkiten, kun ohjelma itsessäänkin on jo varsin kallis.

Tehokkain musasofta iPadille

Helppokäyttöinen mutta monipuolinen rutinantekotyöasemasofta iPadille. Suosittelen lämpimästi. Tähän vielä Korgin lupaama sampleri päivitys niin on melko täydellinen musasofta konemusan tekoon.

Awesome app... but...

Absolutely fantastic, intuitive app. Works like a charm and is fun to use. There are still some important things missing, like a sampler and EQ in the mixer. Some synths has way too few sounds and the drum machine has awful bassdrum sounds. Most important thing to get your track rolling is a good bassdrum in my opinion. Many of the bassdrums are layered with a high hat or cymbal, which I cannot comprehend why. Please Korg, make this a killer app and give us better bassdrums, or a sampler and EQ for the mixer.

Simple and fun, not perhaps 100% finished product

Ok, it's pretty convincing app. At least it's fun to make some music. Sequencer is nice to use to edit beats. Simple looks are a bit deceiving, though, as the app lacks some really basic functions: where undo is hidden??? Also copying clips from one place to another is not too user friendly. "Gadget" presets are a bit weak too. Would need some extra work to get UI working.
