With this app, we’ve effectively “put the original hardware chassis into your iPhone,” by faithfully reproducing the sound engine and design of the ELECTRIBE-R. We’ve also included the latest preset patterns and many new functions that are currently featured on the “iELECTRIBE for iPad”, released in 2010. , taking a further evolutionary step in technology. Taking advantage of the ease of use that you expect on iPhone, we have maximized the intuitive nature of the ELECTRIBE to make this new product worthy of its name: the iELECTRIBE mkII.

We’ve perfectly replicated the thick-sounding synth engine of the ELECTRIBE-R and its intuitive step sequencer. Now you can instantly obtain extreme tonal changes and powerful rhythms with just one touch
Not only can iELECTRIBE for iPhone be easily enjoyed by anyone, but it also allows detailed beat-making that transcends iPhone specs. In addition to playing back the provided audio data, you can also freely synthesize sounds from a single waveform and combine those sounds into your own original beats. This allows for the true experience of music production that connects all musicians.

With 64 of the latest preset patterns, 192 from the first-generation ELECTRIBE-R, and 32 template patterns for various genres, this app successfully draws out the full potential of the thick sounding analog beats. Electro, house, techno, drum'n'bass, dubstep, hip hop, techno pop, and IDM are some of the wide range of electronic music genres that are provided.

Whether you’re on the train or bus while commuting to school or to work, at a coffee shop, or in your bedroom, you can enjoy beat-making anywhere and anytime you like. Still like it but again, can you guys make 4 part AUv3 based on ER1 please or just whole thing if that would be easier to port. Would love to use it without hassle of resampling etc.

this is a HUGE improvement on the original version for both iPhone and iPad (the same app can be used on both). the original version always lacked in terms of design, but korg have absolutely NAILED it this time round!
Not bad.
Fun to play with but confusing info online because iPad vrs is different from iPhone vrs, and iPhone 5s does not have as much function as iPhone 6. You cannot copy/paste pattern in iPhone 5 version. Which is useless. Plus you cannot sync with midi. Seems iPhone app should be much cheaper then iPad version, and iPhone 5 version should be even cheaper. Fun if you like repetitiveness

Very basic for the price (and I got it on sale). There are much better apps out there for cheaper.
Got to Love Korg
I've bought Korg hardware off the back of their brilliant iOS software. This is surely a good business model for them, whether they see iOS as a new market or as a means of attracting new hardware customers. Other music companies, who either don't bother with iOS or do it in a badly watered-down way that gives new customers a bad impression, could learn a lot from Korg!

This is everything you'd expect it to be. The one thing I wanted to say was thankyou Korg for making it compatible with the NanoPad and NanoKontrol. By that I mean 'already mapped' for USB midi. I was disappointed that Gadget (for iPad) was very limited with these Korg controllers. This however is not, and it's really great. Thanks! :-)
