Lennox iComfort Wi-Fi

Super convenient when it stays connected to wifi. Problem is if it drops it won’t reconnect automatically. Would be good to be able to actually edit the seasonal programs from the app. The MOST annoying is the logout button is positioned exactly where you swipe to close the app so I constantly sign out by accident rather than just temporarily close the app. Having to re-sign-in is a pain!

Can’t even log in.

Would like to see the app display outside temperature.

The app almost never connects and sometime after closing the app and relaunching several times it might final connect! By that time I am usually walking to the actual control to do changes or reviewing what is on the display! Had it for about 3 years and is junk! The unit was expensive also, I wish I could of continue to use my Neat thermostat, never had any issues. It’s a scam that I had to change it as per sale folks for the hvac.

Got the app when the furnace/ac was connected. Worked for one day then it crashed. Please tell me how to fix this problem. Doesn't work with IOS 10. Please fix! All of a sudden I can’t get the app from the App Store. Is there a replacement app so I can control the temperature from outside the home. Email me back although that’s doubtful

This is not we expected, it’s been 5 years and nothing got fixed. Horrible thermostat and a horrible App.

App crashes. Their servers appear to be down way more than what one would expect. Worst part, when I enter "away" somehow it turns the fan on non-stop until the "away" state is removed. Basically you can't really use this feature.

The app is useful now as it’s impossible to remotely access the thermostat due to “Connection to server is temporarily unavailable”. This has been the case for the last 3 weeks. Very frustrating. There is not even a support line to reach out to (they ask you to contact your local distributor, which in most cases are small firms that do HVAC type of work and they to give a damn about some app not working)

The app should include functionality to edit existing programs (winter, summer etc.). Currently you can only do this on the thermostat.

I have had a Lenox HVAC system for a few years based on my builders recommendation. While the system works I would say average compared to others I have had in the past the WI-FI thermostat controller is way behind almost any other option. So, the issue is Lennox has a proprietary computer board to operate their system so it’s very difficult to use other controllers without supposedly losing functionality. ie Nest. I would not have a problem with the that except Lennox has not updated the controller to be equivalent to others. So it fails to connect a lot (server down) and lacks most of the monitoring eco features all the other popular Wi-Fi thermostats have. It’s just outdated and not user friendly. I’m dumbfounded that Lennox would not invest in bringing their product to current standard or just share the proprietary info so other controllers can include them in their suite of options as almost every other manufacturer does. I’ll never buy another Lennox system and tell everyone I know to opt for something different.
