Lift4Fit Gym workout logger Reviews

Comprehensive app from a great developer

mischief71 on

Australia

This app was recently released but builds on the great app of 531 Pro and extends it to general programs. The developer is very responsive, I emailed feeds back on bugs and features and there was an update in days. Tempo, 1RM based calculations, it’s all there. Definitely my default app now.

Full of bugs

Jibber67 on

United States

When it works it’s great. I find that it has some weird bugs and some of the features don’t work. For example if you program an exercise to increase by a certain amount every cycle, there is a field for that but it doesn’t increment the weight. The worst part is it’s consistent, some features work for some exercises but not others. I will say that the customer service is good and they are responsive.

Re-purchase pro version

Seanjohnsonsw on

I’ve had to re-purchase the pro version of the app twice after a full data reset. It makes no sense to have to re-purchase the pro version after a data reset.

Gotten worse

Avoid: if you customize, it doesnt work. You get weird reps and weights that you didnt program. And it gets the warm up and main sets messed up AVOID THIS. FIND A DIFFERENT APP THAT ACTUALLY WORKS THE WAY IT SHOULD

Great add to the 5/3/1 app

Jake Bidwell on

United States

Great app with more options than the original 5/3/1 app. I have several years of 5/3/1 workout log data and I haven’t figured out how to merge or share my 5/3/1 app logs with the Lift4Fit app yet. If it’s not possible then I would suggest this be developed as an option. Otherwise, perfect app!

Great app - just dont update to IOS17 while using

Ronnyy107 on

Ive used this app since starting 531 a year ago and have made great progress. A slight learning curve to learn all the absolute ins/outs to cater to your own modifications of each program. Do not upgrade to IOS 17 if you plan on using it, while editing the weights it slightly blocks the view of the numbers which can frustrate you.

Okay

Irritations may trump positives.

Lost some things I liked.

I liked the charting in the previous app better. Also would like to see and export to csv option like the old app. I’d give it 5 stars if those two things were addressed.

Advanced, but does everything you could want

Alex Yaleman on

United States

Ever since I started lifting I liked to track it with an app during each workout. My starter program was StrongLifts and I really liked how the app worked. After moving on to 531, I got the other 531 app by this developer. I liked how that one worked as well. Later, I found this one, and it’s much more customizable than the others. I’ve added two full custom programs based on some other programs. It takes a while to do and to know how everything works, but it does a great job.

Great app except? How do you adjust the rest timer?

drgntmr on

United States

I’m using it for the Wendler program but I can’t figure out how to adjust the rest time
