Great App!
We got the Lollipop camera for our little one’s room. The camera and app work really well, very happy. A few of the things I like most are:
- ability to set decibel level for alerts. As she’s gotten older and louder we have increased the limit to reduce how often we get alerts.
- background play on iOS. Can keep the audio playing and do other things on the phone.
- video & audio quality are great.
- uptime is great. The app has never stopped working or crashed for us, very stable and reliable.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a camera with a great companion app!
Issues with recent update
Recent update makes it impossible to clear notifications. Constantly showing up with no way to delete. Very annoying for what was otherwise a great product.
App notification bugs
Since the recent update you can no longer clear notifications. I mark them as read, delete them etc and I still keep the notification. Happening across multiple iOS devices. Really annoying in an otherwise good product.
Why the extra step?
Not a fan of the latest app update having an extra step between when you open the app and seeing the camera feed.
Becoming frustrating to use
Latest updates has seen a “Home Screen added” which simply shows your child age and Name. You now have to click yet another button to get into the video screen. I don’t care about his name and age when I want to make sure he’s ok. Plus that annoying bubble that does nothing other then obstruct the page is still there. No idea what it does or why it’s there other then ask you random questions.
Most recent update has broken the camera
3 years of using this and all good until now. Latest iOS but the app completely freezes.
Do not update
I’ve been using lollipop for 3 years. The new update has completely blocked me from seeing my camera. None of the functions work or are clickable. I’m not completely unable to use the camera.
Completely unstable
Have been using lollipop for 2 years- then updated to this latest version and app is completely broken. Cannot login, several pages are frozen and I have to force shut down the app, no way to reconnect to my existing camera!! Do NOT download this version
WORST purchase ever.
The camera is quite expensive and the software/app is very unresponsive.
The screen turns black every minute for several seconds and obviously this is a big issue.
We replaced this expensive and dedicated baby camera to a standard TP-Link Tapo camera with better quality and functions for a much cheaper price. I do NOT recommend.
Mediocre performance highly paywalled
The app constantly pushes pricing uosells for features you’d assume is
Included. Eg there’s a thermometer in the hardware but you need to pay a subscription to use it. Video connection is surprisingly slow to connect and a lot of time is wasted waiting for video syncing.
