Macros - Calorie Counter

Works like a it’s should

It’s a decent app to keep track of your macros if you’re going to enter everything manually as almost all of the default foods already on the app have incorrect information with the correct food label so you think it’s correct but you will actually be getting a different daily calorie intake to what the app is telling you unless you read and enter each nutrient count yourself which defeats the object of the app since you could do that in your notes on your phone or on paper.

Easy to use, bar code scanning feature is useful. i also like the fact that you dont have to make an account if you dont want to, you can just use the app straight away

Have used the app for a good few months and its great! But last week it suddenly stopped working and now just displays “waiting for network connection” even though i have a stable internet connection and all other apps working fine. I really hope you can help sort this as the app is very helpful for me.

The app is excellent, looks good and is super intuitive - the barcode scanner works well which was the major selling point for me. It would be great if you could share a meal/recipe with another user; my partner and I both use the app but we both have to enter the ingredients for a meal or recipe in order to log them.

overall good app however i think i’ve found a bug where my macros don’t add up for example, i logged that i ate 499g of carbs 233g of protein and 131g of fat but the kcal counter said i only ate 3690 calories when the correct answer is 4,107

I’m using Macros for more than 3 years. It’s best app. Always improving, customer service amazing, very communicative. It’s very easy app to use. Very accurate too. Love this app. I would recommend to anyone who either start with macros or who is advanced. 🥰👍Gezgor66

This is such a great app for keeping track of your macros & you can save recipes which avoids the need to input data each time you have the same meal/ingredients. Not all of the data in some of the saved products (from the library) are entirely accurate or correct, so it is important to check these before saving. I also love the barcode reader which lets you check nutritional content of common products or brands (when shopping), or create and load a new product that may not be listed (just need to check or save key macros and it will calculate overall nutritional content per serving, or weight of product).

It’s cheaper then fitness pal and it’s pretty much the same !
