Single issues are available for $6.99 each, or you can opt for a recurring monthly subscription for $1.99 per issue.

Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.

Access good, other features not so much-Cannot write a critique in the text box! Text invisible!

Doesn't Recognize iTunes Subscription

What a mess this app is. I purchased a 1-Year Subscription back in late December 2019, but now when I open the app My Library only contains the Feb 2020 and Mar 2020 issues. When I go to the Jan 2020 or Apr 2020 issues, the app says I have to buy them even though they should all be included in my current subscription. And this is after I have selected the Restore iTunes Purchases function several times. Meanwhile back on my iPhone, I am able to access all of the issues since Dec 2019 after selecting the Restore iTunes Purchases function. Then to add insult to injury, the Help section says to send your receipt to MacWorld if you can’t resolve any issues, but doesn’t provide any info as to where to send my receipt. I just hope now that someone from MacWorld/IDG actually reads and responds to these reviews. Unhappy Customer

Great app support

When I first purchased a subscription to the magazine, I could not view magazines in the app. I emailed IDG and was very pleased with the quick response. The support person contacted the app developer and resolved the problem by the next day. I would have given 5 stars if the app had worked properly from the start. Kudos to IDG for their help.

Lost archives

I lost all my previous issues when they updated app

Always have to download

Very horrible apps. Magazine are great but the apps is pathetic. Always have to download the magasin if the apps let you download it. Contact customer service, take 2 WEEKS to have a reply. It was my last purchase of this magazine. I can’t understand how you can do something so bad to use it. Il will read my last issue and erase forever this apps and this magazine.

Previous issues were stolen - problem fixed by customer support!

The newly redesigned app requires that you sign in again. However, only the current issue is available - previous issues that I had downloaded, but not yet read, have disappeared. They are presented on the home page, but clicking one brings up an opportunity to purchase it for $10. The various suggestions on the FAQ pages don't work. UPDATE - the problem seems to have been related to my having recently renewed my subscription. Customer support worked it out. New app makes articles easy to read. I’m updating my rating.

Nothing but trouble

This app is a disaster. Latest problem is that it will not download August 2019 issue. Just says “Error try again” Have been a reader for 20 years plus. Will not renew.

I miss the paper issues...app keeps crashing

The original digital issues were quite fantastic. Now the digital issues are basically a pdf. And the app keeps crashing . Appalling considering that this magazine is about mac computers!! I hesitated to renew and I regret my decision

Needs more love

I love Macworld, the content is great, but this app needs more love from Macworld. It’s been buggy in the past, was ok for a while, and now silently quits 2 or 3 minutes after I start reading (iOS 12.1.4 on iPad 6,11).

Pretty bad app

I have been a long-time subscriber but Macworld’s app really sucks. A few years ago it stopped working on my original iPad 2?? But then even after buying a new iPad with the latest iOS, it still sucks. It continually asks if I want to restore past purchases and then fails. When reading an issue, it spontaneously quits while I reading an article. Then I have to relaunch, find the issue, and then find the place where I was reading. Garbage! I guess i have to read on Zinio. Sad.
