App works great when it’s connected the problem I’m finding is that every week when I want to fire the smoker up I have to pair the app all over again to get it to connect. This has been a very annoying process get this fixed and imo it’s great
App connects quite well. The Temperature setting from the app does work quite smoothly too. There are some issues with timer that need addressing - cannot change timer from app, needs to be done from bbq - cannot see elapsed time on the app if you set it up from the bbq
Hi The app is good and a great addition to the GF560. I would really like it if you can add door switch status indicators on temp screen. Good to know if a door has been opened. Also the ability to log information for a session, things like how many times a door was opened, temp over time …… Thanks for a great product
This is beyond a joke how piss poor how the app doesn’t even work! You’ve had so many complaints and still aren’t fixing it. I’m about to throw my maters built 560 in the bin as there is always an issue wether it be the app or something to do with the smoker!
I can’t believe they market the cooker as Bluetooth. It’s a joke
App is 6 months - v1.0.10 and does not work on the lastest ios. Is anyone supporting this app still? Are no developers regression testing these apps with the new versions of iOS? Lift your game dev’s/MB
When I turn the bbq on, this app gives me a notification to connect - so the bbq is clearly connecting to the cloud. But the app won’t connect to the bbq. The old Masterbuilt app can connect, but won’t let me adjust the temperatures. What a mess.
When you pay over $1000AUD for a bbq the app should work completely. As it is the bbq no longer accepts the wifi network but when it did you couldn’t control the smoker via the app at all, which was a main “feature”. The app was good for monitoring temps, but no one is able to change or alter the temps. Not a happy Chappy
Full of bugs and now the old app doesn’t work anymore… you know the problems you need to listen and work in them…
Very poor app, probs heading accurate on the smoker but on the app it’s way off. Disconnects every chance it can get Very poor app but an exceptional smoker
