Description

Battle the likes of sozzled bearbearians and nuke-addled snotwolves to protect our glowing green world from the sweaty hands of the Uberlich! Krumit's Tale involves the same core deck building mechanics as Meteorfall: Journeys and the same cast of overly optimistic heroes, but expands the ‘swipe’ mechanic into a dynamic grid based system. This means more depth and longevity – our heroes will have to choose perks to complement their deck-building strategy and carefully manage the board if they wish to triumph.

+ A follow-up to the popular mobile solo deckbuilding card game - Meteorfall: Journeys!

+ The brave heroes of Meteorfall return! Play as five different heroes - Bruno, Greybeard, Mischief, Muldorf, and Rose - each with their own cards and a distinct playstyle

+ In true roguelike fashion, each run is different! Your journey is built from 20+ unique dungeons, 25+ fully animated enemies, more than 50+ perks (passive bonuses), and more than 300+ cards

+ More than 30 achievements to unlock

+ Feeling competitive? Check out the daily challenge mode! Each day has a different set of modifiers which tweak the rules of the game in radical ways.

+ Mobile optimized gameplay. The game can be played one-handed in portrait mode and auto-saves frequently

+ Play across multiple devices with iCloud save support

+ Offline play. If you want to enjoy Krumit's Tale on your daily commute or on an airplane ride - go for it! No online connection is required

Fun but difficult game

AdvisorNimrod on

I haven’t managed to defeat Krumit’s tale, but have had a great time trying. The app is well designed and pleasant to use, with no ads and nice quality of life features. The gameplay is a good mix of determinism and randomness. You need to plan ahead and actually think but the randomness shakes things up. The art style and animation is also very nice.

BRILLIANT

Graphics, sounds, and challenge top notch, although I’m not very good yet I keep coming back.

The best card crawler on mobile

This game is absolutely amazing! I know a lot of people will be put off by the high price tag, but it’s worth it the amount of hours you will sink into the game. The visuals and gameplay are amazing. The only possible improvement I could think of is adding a few more locations and enemy types. Other than that, perfect!

Incredible

In my opinion this is legitimately one of the best games on the App Store. I had Apple Arcade for a while but cancelled it as nothing really captured my attention. I can’t put this one down. It’s polished to perfection with amazing artwork, animation, sound and gameplay. Of course if you don’t like card/puzzle games this won’t appeal to you, but if this is your sort of thing this is honestly the best the App Store has to offer. It’s so nice to see a game made with real love and care that’s not simply a vehicle for in app purchases. None of that nonsense here where you get the “best value!” Gem/coin/arbitrary currency for £99. You buy it, you have it. Simple.

MeteorFall: Krumit’s Tale

I’m the first to admit that I’m not a huge fan of these deck building games. The only other game in this genre I’ve put any serious amount of time into was Hearthstone. I enjoyed it up to a point but what really annoyed me was the use of real money in order to purchase new packs of cards for your deck. Now MeteorFall is a one off up front payment. That’s what I want in a game. No pay to win.. The other thing that attracted me to the game was the lovely animation. It’s very reminiscent of Adventure Time. The undisputed champion of kids cartoons. I’m 51 and I love it 😆 The battles certainly require some thinking about and the five main protagonists all have various skill sets and their own strengths and weaknesses. All of them sent on a quest by the mysterious Krumit. From stealth to magic to outright pugilistic action there’s a hero to suit everyone’s play style.

Brilliant!

Only played a few games but loving it so far. I can already see that there will be loads of replayability and it's very addictive
