Moka: Intelligent investing

The app is great and I love how professional the UI looks. I think it needs more customer support improvements but overall I’m loving the gains on my savings

Absolute trash, I have been trying to connect on my account without any success and now they want to take 7$/ per month for the same service. F off

There are hidden rules & fees in the terms of service. You get charged $5.48 fee monthly. Weird that it’s the same as the minimum withdrawal amount. Because they don’t want you to notice. You CANNOT CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT FROM THE APP. Stopping withdrawals does not stop them from charging you the fee. You must contact them. That’s right. There is NO IN-APP FEATURE TO CLOSE AN ACCOUNT. This is bad business practice, their is intentional malice in the legal terms of service, they know nobody reads through them.

The recent ‘improvement’ to the app means that it shows you your projected balance at the end of your goal, not your CURRENT balance. If you have more than one account/ goal, you have to click into each account to see where it is actually at. Is it nice to see where the account could be in x years of time? Yes. Should this be the primary / only info displayed on the main screen? No way. Seems to have gone downhill since the sale/merger/ name change. Siigghhhh.

I’ve been trying for 2 weeks to withdraw the money from my account. The withdrawal continues to be cancelled. They told me my information don’t match my account, yet somehow they can continue to withdrawal money from that same bank account on a weekly basis. IF YOU CAN’T DEPOSIT THE MONEY INTO THAT ACCOUNT WHY CAN YOU CONTINUE TO TAKE MONEY FROM IT??!! After finally receiving a response email (Because there is no way to have a human to human conversation) saying to send them a void cheque, I DID, they still will not complete my withdrawal. PLEASE BE VERY VERY CAUTIOUS OF GIVING THIS COMPANY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

Don’t waste your money. If one can’t save on their own then one needs a much better service. This company charges fees even when the service isn’t used. Beware.

Inscrite hier, un samedi, app avec minimum de détails et manque beaucoup d’informations. Durant la journée les montants de transfert pour lundi prochain triplent …hein? , je trouve pourquoi et désactive mais dimanche matin, le montant a ENCORE augmenté sans mon approbation. Inacceptable, je saute donc le prochain prélèvement en espérant que ce sera bel et bien annulé. Autre point, les contributions uniques ne s’ajoutent que le lundi et sont impossibles à supprimer. Sur l’app ul n’y a nulle part où ça parle du fameux arrondissement du montant d’achats et après avoir fait des achats en ligne, aucune notification ou ajout de données, rien. Désolée, trop louche, je passe mon tour et demande de fermer mon compte au pc

I started with Moka quite sometime ago and this helped us put a bit of money away until we took it all out. Life happens. I didn’t get back to using it until about a year after and my links to my accounts were broken. It took a couple days for someone to get back to me but when they did, Hunain from Moka was relentless to get me back up and running. Great work and appreciate the customer support.

I used to like the app, but with no phone or live agent service, i can’t trust them managing bigger amount with time.
