Worst app. It's crashing always

Hangs all the time.

I am a frequent user of the National Express service between Gatwick and Heathrow. Whilst I can’t fault the professionalism of the drivers and the reliability of the service itself (high ticket prices aside) it staggers me how appalling the app is. As of the last few weeks, the app won’t load any services once the search has been put in place, let alone allow you to book a ticket. Frequently over the last year there have been glitches with the payment service, especially when using PayPal. More often than not, I just use a ticket desk. When you consider the sky-high fares, it is amazing that they can’t produce a decent, glitch-free app.

So glad they put on 2 coaches in my journey over Christmas so organised and lovely extra coaches .

It would be better if you were able to review your choices / order before pressing the final pay/buy button.

App won’t stay open

I don’t have any issue with travelling on NE but this app is not good. It doesn’t allow you to log in to your own account. It is just a ticket search app. After seeing/ reading all the comments below, I wouldn’t risk using this. Better their website. I advise them to invest some money and make this app working good.

The UI is horrendous. To book a ticket: you have to enter your coach board details twice and put in your billing address AND sign into your national express account (to save £1.50 on booking fee). Why can't the app save my details? Booking a ticket could be so simple and easy but I have to do all these tedious tasks for a basic thing. Furthermore, coach tracker and "my tickets" section may as well not exist. For me they have never worked properly and I always have to go into my emails and manually add the ticket to my apple wallet and coach times to my calendar. Overall, the coach journey is alright, some drivers are very rude while others are nice. The seats are comfortable and coach has been very consistent with times. My only complaint is the whole booking experience on the app.
