Hopeless app
Leaflet with came with the switch instructs you to use to app; however, once you have set up the app and registered the account the serial number is not supported by the app. The app is just a cynical attempt to lock you into a paid premium subscription.
Why is this subscription service offered on a low priced unmanaged home switch?
I just wanted to register my product for warranty and was directed to this app from the inbox leaflet in my new 308-300UKS unmanaged switch.
I was surprised that I am now on a 30 day free trial for a service that I don’t want or understand. My concern is that there is no clear indication of what will happen after 30 days? Will I somehow charged via my original purchase details or Apple applications subscription service.
I hope that neither will happen and the app becomes inert .
Either way the vacuum of information is an inconvenience and an unwanted concern.
Zero points for presentation from Netgear. You’re wasting my time.
Doesn’t work
It’s showing my switch is disconnected 90% of the time, but it isn’t. Can access it through the network. Get rid of this useless app & working perfectly since

NETGEAR are rubbish
Got this app to work with my criminally overpriced Orbi 6 Pro kit, which I promptly returned because it was an absolute pile of crap, sold using complete lies and misleading information. Don’t bother buying anything NETGEAR, they’re crooks!
It keeps logging me out and doesn’t remember my login
“You must log in the first time manually” it says - well it’s not the first time as I have used it dozens of times with Apple fingerprint recognition. I don’t remember my login, so that’s the end of that. Time to delete it and buy a different brand of switch that doesn’t need a badly written app.
Doesn’t work
Wants the terms and conditions accepting (but no tick box) so can’t create account as Submit is greyed (or purpled) out
Too much hype
You are not allowed to rename the device which is connecting the basic function which is missing
Please fix the data transferred logging
The data transfer counters are all just nonsense, seem to undercount hugely. Irritating as I want to be able to see how much data my devices have used. Switch is a GC108P
