The app is just a mess, they are only streaming 720p no 1024p, second problem is the everything you have to log in it like 8 touched to log out, then log back in search your password, it does to remember you or use touch or Face ID, and you need you need to do this if the app crashes or when you open the app even though you where logged in and you hide the app.
Lately every time I use the app it rewinds every few minutes it pauses and rewinds 5 seconds always right in the middle of good play.
The app freezes or says you have no feed, the Apple TV airplay controls not longer work, it like a bad nightmare.
Who was in charge that took a perfectly good working app and wrote this should be fired, I am a thirty year Apple enveloped and a 6 year NHL subscriber. It’s just embarrassing to use the app.
A team of junior programmers could have done a better job, the Web version does not support 1080p or Airplay. I could fix this in a few weeks.

When you watch NHL.TV on line, it works fine but this app is terrible. It’s constantly buffering causing lags and skips, making game watching a painful experience. This seems to be a recent development so I hope whatever they messed up gets fixed quickly. Shows the problem of monopoly over content.

Very poor compare to previous, don’t even start on time after video breaks and you don’t get the in between periods. You have to log in every time you change games. Very disappointed!

ich hasse es dass bei gewissen Spielen die Werbung nicht gezeigt wird,die Unterbrüche mit Werbiung sind sowieso schon endlos lang und wenn man dann noch 3 Minuten auf ein Standbild mit Videobreak starren muss nervt dass sehr!!!
Sound delay on games!!
The sound of the live streams and recorded games is delayed (about 1sec)!!

Old App was ok, this new one is horrible
Update Final Game 5: missed the last minutes due to this very bad app. Stream broke down, had to relogon, missed the whole fun. Vegas top, this App flop. During this season, I have feedback several times to the NHL and the App supplier. I have got NOT ONE answer. Bad app, extremely bad service. Where shall I begin: Stream breaks in the middle of the game. No swiping between game days. No AppleTV support. No game scores visible despite setting and toggling 'Hide Scores'. Lousy and complicated human interface. This App is unworthy for the NHL organization and an impertinence for the user. Can we please have the former NHL app with its streaming services back?
