Only disappointment
Have been looking for a good handwriting app and this one is a waste of money, when writing the text disappears constantly making it impossible to use. Following recommendations on settings does not help either, waste of my time.

Used to be the best
Notes plus has got superior hand writing feel, light years before other apps such as notability and I really love the authentic feeling fountain pen effect. It’s an advanced note taking app with lots of features (more than it’s competitors) which can seem daunting at first glance but once you get used to them it unlocks a new (and much easier and complete) world of digital note taking. The hand writing recognition is also great and supports LOTS of languages, even Swedish. I’ve tried both GoodNotes notability and Nebo, but notes plus is by far my favourite and go to note taking app. Customer service also is excellent!! UPDATE One year later, after PadOS, the app is so buggy and slow it’s basically unusable. It used to be my all time favourite note taking app but it just doesn’t work anymore. It still has the most authentic handwriting feel and it’s a great app design wise. However, if the bugs and instability is not fixed it’s not possible to use the app why I change my rating until it’s fixed. The reason for two instead of one star is just due to the potential this app has.

great app
however I wish that you can update the app, I hope that I can drag files into folders, it will be more convenient. And every time when I write something by apple pencil on fullscreen, my finger can write on the note and creat tons of small dots. It’s rather annoying. So plz can one disable finger writing while using Apple Pencil
Some more features to add
Overall I’m happy with this app. I use it for work and some things that should be easy to add: 1. When choosing what page to use in a new notebook - a double page (like an open book) would be good as many people use the left page for the specific customer you meet and right handside for Actions. 2. The ability to search for specific words in all documents. Sometimes (quite often) you want to search for specific meetings and Actions that could have happened a year ago. This way its easy to find (and I dont have to index it myself). Thanks for a great app
Has deteriorated
Used to be very good especially the Apple pen response with accurate writing and feel. The last couple of updates and since I got a iPad Pro second generation and Apple pen, the writing problems have increased. The pen misses out and instead of a letter, it momentarily stops writing and writesa straight line. Or similar. The undo function quits from time to time and I have to restart the app. There is also serious activation problems, from time to time, with switching from say eraser to pen using the Apple pens switching function, double clicking with the finger on the pen. Thw pen does not react to the double click. But the biggest problem without doubt is the pen and its failure to write properly and accuratly, like it used to. I have used the app many years but these new anoying bugs are becoming irritating. Hope you get them soon. It seems the new pen has given the app some problems. Excellent for taking notes. This is just what I needed for making summaries of scientific papers with the possibility of copy/paste figures and tables from PDF files.
Bra app för olika typer av anteckningar
Jag har använt Notes Plus i mer än 6 år och jag tycker att det är en mycket bra app för att hålla reda på mina anteckningar. Genom att man kan skapa en mappstruktur så är det lätt att hitta tidigare anteckningar om man har dem t ex ämnesordnade och inte bara i kronologisk ordning. Dessutom så har man alltid med sig alla anteckningar och kan på så sätt plocka fram dem när man behöver. Det är väldigt lätt att importera text och bild till anteckningarna. Export av anteckningar är också enkelt att göra. Stöter man på problem så får man aktivt stöd från Notes Plus support.
Apple Pencil 2nd gen lag
The lag, using an Apple Pencil 2nd gen, is considerable. It has a much quicker feel in other apps.
