This may have been “rewritten”, however it’s still looking far too much like a beta version. I’ve tried, but there are too many bugs for me to persist in trying to get it to work.
I don’t have time to be a software tester, I need the app to work, as advertised, on demand. I simply cannot lose notes or be forced to stuff-around with buggy software.
Importing of existing notes doesn’t work.
Can’t seem to get OneDrive working properly.

Save your money and stick with the old version (or one of the other popular writing apps). This app isn’t worth your time or your money.
I’ve tried hard to like this version
I have been using Notes Plus since my first iPad 10 years ago and have loved it. I have persisted to use this version and just don’t feel like it’s as good as previous versions. I use the “Show Closeup” feature a lot with the old version as it was simply there on my toolbar. Now i have to go through the menu to find it. I also find that as my hand moves along when writing, that random words disappear and I am yeeted to another part of the page/document.
I’m sure there is a way to fix these issues, i’m just not sure where that is.
I think i’ll keep going on the older version until it dies.
Still Crashing
App is still crashing, there have been other updates to fix the constant bugs and crashes but still not fixed, don’t wast your money, it’s so frustrating to pay for an app and then have to put up with the stupid thing constantly crashing, it’s been going on for months and still no fix.
Buggy beyond Belief
Any time I go to change the name of the file, it crashes… basically useless…
ONLY USES ICLOUD
Developer is aware that only iCloud works - do not trust the statement that any cloud service works. I bought this to use with OneDrive. Their response below:

We found out the issue of Notes Plus X by using other clouds (Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.) except iCloud. We're currently working hard to find a better solution for that issue and hopefully, we could release the support to other clouds in the next version 1.2
Full of Bugs
App prone to freezing, also freezes iPad requiring reboot. Importing notebooks is also dodgy. Needs an urgent upgrade.

I have been using Notes Plus since it first became available. Love it. As a practical person I like it best for making notes in all sorts of circumstances. For example, I often need to make extensive notes on long, standard page size PDF files. I save them in Landscape A3 format (PDF on left half of page) and import that to Notes Plus. All the room in the world for notes, diagrams, whatever. I insert more blank pages on the fly when I need more space at any point along the way. Often I export the completed notes as PDF and email them. The only limit to how you can use this tool (instead of paper) is your imagination. And it so easy to take with me - which I always do.
Very buggy
Hello, I was thrilled to see a new version of this app, which has the best rendering of cursive handwriting of any note taking app IMO.
However, the app is freezing and crashing.
Maybe squash some bugs, please? 🥺
