The original and best

There are other apps that add more bells/whistles but Noteshelf is stable, accessible and offers the most pleasing ink rendering of any app I’ ve used.

Essential for increased productivity!

I’ve used many digital notebooks and tools over the years in my role as a professional digital designer but I’ve stayed loyal to Noteshelf since I first came across version 1. I use it for meetings, client projects, initial concept design sketching, planning and for personal use. It just gets better and better with every update. I recently ditched my paid for version of Evernote who I’ve been with for over 10 years as Noteshelf does everything I need (I also use Apple Notes if I need to). Keep up the great work guys!

Love it!

I just bought myself an iPad for school and I downloaded this app to write school notes for revision and I absolutely love it already! The design and layout makes it effortless to stay organised but also makes revising far more enjoyable and motivating! Thanks for this app :)

AI has ruined this app

I used to love this app, I’ve used it since the first version but I hate the reduction in functionality to accommodate AI, I use as a PDF reader and nothing more. They reduced the number of colours that can be saved for handwriting, you can save more for text but you can’t rest them. The convoluted process now for creating new notebooks makes it pointless, and adding custom templates is a complete pain. And the promotion of environmental causes while integrating AI, which is causing so many environmental issues reeks of hypocrisy. Sadly another great company destroyed by tech bros.

Gutted! Its failed me and can’t get help

Moved to Noteshelf 3 and started with a clean new iPad and purging all my old notes on NS2. Created lots of new notebooks and now they won’t open & then they duplicate (still not to open). The help function is not useful and submitted a detailed request to the developers has been ignored. Really disappointing!

Great app - just wish notebooks would stay

Love the app, great functionality. The only really annoying thing is that my notebooks constantly get offloaded from my iPad and into the cloud. It’s super annoying as I have to keep redownloading them, and if I’m somewhere without WiFi then I’m stuck

Crashes all the time

But still excellent and picks up where you left off. Just degrades confidence as a long term solution. If you haven’t started, maybe look elsewhere.

Best Handwriting App

I Love this app. It’s going from strength to strength, and after trying other writing apps again, I always come back to this app. Well done to the developers.

Amazing App

I recently migrated to this app from Noteshelf 2, which I had been using for the past 7 years for note-taking and reading/annotating PDFs. As brilliant as NS2 was, NS3 is even better, which I didn’t think was possible. When I first got an iPad, I tested several note-taking apps, but NS2 had the best handwriting experience, and the format/layout was far superior to the alternatives in my opinion. Each feature that made NS2 stand out and outperform competing apps has been expanded and improved upon in NS3. I highly recommend this app for anyone who reads and annotates notes frequently.

Not as good as excepted

When it works it is good however it keeps freezing and then losing everything and I have had to reinstall it
