With over 10 years in the App Store, Notion Mobile is a free, award-winning music composition tool for iOS, iPadOS®, macOS and more! You’ll effortlessly create dynamic compositions in traditional musical notation or guitar tablature with its intuitive touch-based interface and incredibly broad editing capabilities.

With a user-friendly interface and simple interactive piano keyboard, fretboard, drum pad, and even optional Handwriting Recognition, Notion Mobile makes it easy to get started composing your music. You can also hear your music performed with the most realistic playback possible, using real audio samples recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.

Notion Mobile is a native cross-platform app, meaning you can write anywhere on any device without requiring a constant Internet connection. And when you’re back online, you’ll be able to sync your work across multiple devices — either through your preferred cloud provider, or through the optional wireless transfer between PreSonus applications on any device. Start your work on one device and finish it on another. Once you are happy with your creation you can share the Notion file, or export as MIDI, MusicXML, PDF or as an audio file.

Compose, edit, and play back your music performed with real piano and orchestral samples recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios — along with outstanding sampled guitar, bass, drums and other popular instruments. And when you’re ready for more sounds, you’ll find the extensive library of Notion Add-on Soundsets to purchase as part of the Feature Bundle. To save space, the initial app download contains just piano — you can then manage which of the bundled Soundsets to have on your device or keep in the cloud, just tap on Sound Installation.

Notion has been featured in various Apple campaigns including the 2014 YourVerse television commercials and has won several awards, including a prestigious music industry NAMM TEC Award for Best Smartphone/Tablet App.

What the hell

the file is still loading, please try again later…. what is this supposed to be?? Can't download file from ICloud drive the program has a problem with downloading files from ICloud after a short time, a few days after saving

Please add a save button

I have lose for the second time hours of work. Sometimes is not saving the file

how is that even possible???

I know nearly nothing about programming, writing scripts etc. but seriously how is that possible that this app from being super useful, really handy, easy too use and generally really good, went into being not only a difficult to use, but being an actual obstacle, it actually destroyed hours if my work. Seriously I’m almost speechless on how bad it works now, which a really sad conclusion as I don’t know any good alternatives

New version are very bad

Turn back the old version, because there are many bags, and uncomfortable decides

Poor guitar notation support

Tabs aren't synchronised with finger position marked above the staff with roman numerals. (You can add it only as plain text), so there's no processing of it). There's a bug not allowing to playback score after playing some music in another app (like Transcribe+) in split screen mode.

Why?

You had so nice app. Why you changed it? Now I use to use it for a long time as my best one. Now I had to switch for different app. After your recent update it is impossible to use it for me anymore. It is impossible to even contact you via email. Please!!! Remove this update. For example continuous view doesn’t work properly. And indicator is late. And many others bad updates. Three stars instead of one but only because I loved your previous version.

Notion new not better

I am not satisfied with the use of your NOTION app after the update. It's not as functional as the previous 2016 version. I can't type in Panorama, I can't move the piano keyboard, there aren't many of the old page layout customization features. It's a pity that instead of developing you spoiled what was good?

I bought Notion few years ago and with this new update I’m not able to restore the purchases that I’ve made and I’m trying to get some help with no sucess.- update: my problem wasnt a problem at all. I got a reply and everything is fine :) thank you
