Super easy fast perfect

Buggy, bad UX

Yesterday the app logged me out every time I opened it while connected to ICE wifi. The only way to log back in was to disconnect from it, or the login page would show an "access denied" NS-server error. Very stressful when the conductor is checking tickets. Today the app refuses to turn on notifications for a trip. I've previously arrived at Dutch central stations only to learn that my train was canceled, with zero indication in the app (and no notifications). UX is bad too, asking for earlier or later connections on the search screen throws you into the „morning" or other tab without actually showing what you wanted — why not keep it simple and get rid of those awful tabs? Also, no way to check the current train you're on if you've had to take a detour, because it doesn't show "past" trains, only ones that can still be booked (apparently you prioritize selling tickets over informing existing passengers). Please fix your app.

Not working, address not accepted

LuvLeeLuuv on

This app doesn’t work. It refers to the NS website as they ask for additional data such as address. When you want to enter your address it cannot save it (address cannot be found, typing it manually will not be accepted). So be aware that you have to print out everything like 20 years ago.

Alle gegevens ineens weg

Keon83 on

Germany

No updated schedule, many routes not bookable online

andreas@kölle on

The app does not show all available trains (compared to the NL version). Most of the routes were not possible to book online but ba making a phone call and picking up the tickets??? Otherwise the train service as such is very reliable.

Not flexible enough if you do not want to register

gaellechen on

I am doing a 1 on-off trip. I do not want to register! I cannot load the booking in the app to have e-ticket without being registered! I do not want to be registered! Too bad. Mobile app of airlines allow to load bookings without being registered

Needs improvement

schaf2015 on

Went to Germany recently and had to print off my ticket before because my trip details disappeared out of the app. Reason was apparently a disruption in the ICE schedule between Cologne and Frankfurt which did not concern my trip as I stepped out in Oberhausen. Nevertheless the details were not visible in the app anymore. Pretty useless! Same story on my way back for whatever reason. Even in case of disruption I expect the app to recognize which traject has been booked and if the disruption is really impacting the trip. And even if there is an impact there could be a notification but the trip details need to remain. Speaking of notifications: the ones re 5 min delays I received on my mobile but they are not visible in the app itself. Meaning when I log into my phone they are gone. Not practical.
