****– ::: Great, but a few remarks nonetheless :::

1️⃣ Probably due to the Obsidian Platform's underlying fundamental architecture (igs), it cannot and does not support HardSpace nor LineBrk (NewLine) character functionality – or am I mistaken on this (which would be wonderful news) ? 2️⃣ [1:] Tap a note in the list of notes → [2:] We get a full view of the tapped note → [3:] Tap the 23h "document list" icon → [4:] We get back to our notes list indeed, where we find the note's entry that we are back from now highlighted in the list → [5:] Tap the same entry again in a clear attempt to reopen the very same note → [6:] This ~fails unexpectedly, as if there's no way to get back into the same note that we had just returned from. ??!!~ [7:] OK, we can work around this bizarre anomaly (or what do you call such behaviour) in various ways, but then that doesn't take away the utter annoyance it time and again brings about. --- Obsidian v.1.5.8 on iPadOS v17.3.1 --- 2024.02.29.Th.06:30.iPm.

Please add an open folder feature

It’s a shame that we need to create new vault or pay for sync. I already pay for OneDrive, I should be able to open my vault from it.

Why can’t I select an existing vault on icloud?

Seems a bit strange that you need to create a new vault (which is just a folder) on icloud through the app on your iOS device, when I’ve already made a vault on my iCloud earlier using my computer. Now I’m supposed to copy all files from the earlier vault to the new one in order to establish a way to sync files between my computer and the iOS device. Why isn’t there an option to select an earlier created vault as the vault you want to use? Why can we only create new vaults? I haven’t tested it yet but I’m wondering how I’m going to be able to sync between iPad and iPhone if both only can create new vaults. Edit: while I still find this method odd it’s not really hampering. I’ve now checked my iPhone and it immediately presents the vaults I created through my iPad. The sole reason to create a vault through an iOS device, that I can see, is so that the vault would exist within a dedicated Obsidian folder on your iCloud.

Ok

Gets 5 stars when oneDrive sync can be implemented, pretty useless for me atm

Works perfectly across devices using iCloud sync.

Hands down the best app if you want to take back control of your personal data: all your notes can be kept in iCloud as plain files. Obsidian does not own them and you can access everything offline!
