Ola has gone down hill. The app is glitchy, the drivers often cancel or just drive the opposite way with no consequences. If you cancel you instantly get charged and there’s no one available to fix the mistake. They’re expensive, their discounts stopped working. I won’t even bother using this anymore.

Destination search has stopped working. Can’t order a cab without punching in a destination. I’ve updated the app. Restarted my phone. No chop.

Takes 30 mins or more to find you a ride after they increase the cost by 1/3 $30 to drive you for 10mins seems like a rip off for me. What markets as a $20 ride ends up being a 30 min wait and then turns out to cost $30 and if it’s on a holiday they won’t tell you but it will cause you another $15. Very disappointed with this service

Drivers got a hack that they drive away from your location for an automatic cancellation and I'm here in the cold waiting like an idiot. Not to mention never getting anywhere on time. COMMUNICATE YOU GUYS!

Booked a ride home with my wife. Car arrives. My wife and I get in. Then someone else gets in. The driver says he canceled my ride and booked with then. My app is still showing it as my ride. Driver says the app is not working properly. 7 weeks later after 10 messages there is still a $30 charge on my credit card. Ola just keeps marking issue as resolved.

Ridiculous and rubbish company. Go hell

Downloaded app one day knowing I’d need a ride the next. Driver accepted fare, estimated time 2 mins away. Driver then drove kms away from me, 15 minutes later estimated 10 mins away, driver seemingly headed for Kalgoorlie. I canceled the ride. App then refused to accept another booking, claiming two valid cards were now invalid.. Will be monitoring accounts to make sure I’m not charged for this rubbish, deleting app now. Ridiculous.

After repeated poor performance by drivers (cancelling my booking when I told them I use a walking aid, further cancellations when I told them I had one small bag), I asked the central office to delete my account because I have barriers to understanding their account deletion process (which is complicated) - their reply was to keep ignorantly telling me to “use the app to delete your account”. After replying and disclosing I have disabilities and can’t do it myself through the app and that’s why I’m messaging with them - for assistance - they ignorantly and discriminatorily said they do not delete accounts, all accounts must be deleted via the app. This is despite telling them again that they have an onus to help people with disabilities carry out necessary functions without bias. They replied back saying they’d closed my enquiry - when I replied and said they’re not allowed to do that based on discrimination legislation, they simply ignored by message. I still have not been able to delete my account. Each company has a process to delete accounts on behalf of anyone if asked - it’s law, because how on earth is a person supposed to log on and delete an account if, for instance, they have passed away? This is an instance, along with a person with disabilities, when they can override any policy the company has, and action a delete account request or requirement. It’s simply shameful nonsense to tell a disabled person they can’t delete their account, and to then repeatedly force them to undertake a process they have already failed to be able to do independently (and why that person is seeking their help). They now are in breach of privacy, in addition to breaches in discrimination legislation, not to mention financial services legislation as they still have my credit card details without my consent (as expressed by their refusal to assist me by deleting my account), and NSW Fair Trading legislation, and ACCC legislation. These completely neglectful, cruel, and ruthless people who own and run this organisation are criminals, who are at complete odds to what is required to operate a business in Australia. I encourage everyone to boycott this business, delete your accounts, and use a reliable taxi service where the drivers have undergone excellent screening, training, and other necessary steps to become public drivers, with all required public driver licensing. Drivers are always unreliable. They use multiple ridesharing/delivering apps. I’ve had drivers pick me up with uber eats bags in the back. Most of the time, the drivers just drive around and never actually head towards you to pick you up. Ola seems lackluster in care, the worst thing - after drivers cancel on you and you’re left sitting with no driver coming - Ola will increase the fare price for you to rebook.
