Software is not user friendly

Notification Ads

Haven’t even used the app yet properly, but it gets an automatic one star from me. Constant solicitation via push notifications, and no way to fine tune notifications in the app to avoid marketing. Bad app design as far as I’m concerned, and any app that operates this way gets one star from me. Let me control how the app invades my notifications feed.

Can’t manage notifications

There’s no setting available to choose notifications types to enable. It is frustrating to be bombarded by marketing notifications all the time. Otherwise, app works well during rides.

Poor help from mobile app

Ola took money accidentally couple of times, there is no way that you can reach to their support, i tried multiple ways to report this concern, its simply frustrating. Totally unacceptable

Unable to use for tourist

Hi, I’m coming from USA. I’m trying to go login to the app and I’m trying to put my US number to get OTP so that I can use for Travels and India but I’m unable to do it. Can you please help out

Push notification spam

The app sends frequent advertisements as push notifications, with no setting to opt out of this. If I’m not wrong, this violates Apple’s App Store guidelines, right? Terrible app.

Make sure app is ready for production

I don’t want to waste my time to write a review for this application. so firstly I want to talk about the map and direction. when I search for sub Road. It’s shows the result not found. Which is ridiculous and time consuming. Thanks and improvement I expect in feature.

False time to arrival shown in app. Unable to cancel.

I had booked an Ola. Which showed 2 min for getting a vehicle. After booking, it showed 17 minutes. I cancelled it. I got a notification of being charged 75 rupees towards cancellation. Why should I not be allowed to cancel knowing that the vehicle will be delayed beyond what is falsely shown in your App?? Dr. Deepak Baid

Can’t sign up

App won’t allow me to sign up by phone number or via apple. The sign in screen throws an error saying sign in blocked, please update to the latest version, even though I am running the latest version. I guess I’m walking in the rain :(

Usa number in India

I use USA number while in India. I just downloaded the app but when I enter usa number, it says, ‘ please upgrade to the latest version and doesn’t let me sign up’.
