The update application does not work as before and the data is not transferred with the bluetooth connection

Slow data transfer

Kmhusain on

Kuwait

The new version of the software has some good new features but is not as straightforward like the previous one. The result transfer from the device to the mobile is very slow using sync button alone. I need to press the transfer button on the device.

Hit and miss

Got the Omron Bronze 5150 and downloaded this app. Synced everything up and ran my first test. Went well. Curious, checked my BP 7 hours later and keeps saying no new readings to sync even though the machine is showing 2. Had to manually enter the data. Auto sync is on. Unpaired and repaired, no luck. Hopefully the kinks get worked out. Nice machine, same the app doesn’t work well.

Best BP Unit

Even my cardiologist is impressed with the accuracy of this unit! Very reliable and downloading the readings is so helpful!

Hardware is good, software (app) is a disaster

Dreg2000 on

United States

Regularly loses Bluetooth pairing, requests to un-pair and re-pair, but when re-pairing, all not yet transferred data (still in the device) gets lost. Result: every couple of weeks, I lose several days of data… My doctor always asks me to bring my blood pressure history, showing gaps with missing data and asks why? I need to say: « sorry I am using an Omron device and their app is crappy and loses data ». Not really professional! Too bad, because the Hardware is good, readings very stable and reliable. The problem is the software, maybe they need to hire more experienced software engineers able to thing about how to handle unexpected conditions, rather than just resetting and losing data!

Needs work

Isn’t as user friendly as many health apps are these days. Has sync errors with machine.
