Owlet Care Reviews

Sukka

Usein ongelmia joko kameran tai sukan yhteyden kanssa.. 300€ laite ja näin surkea appi.

The sock is great, but the app is awful

Kattilaperuna on

Finland

After the latest update the app barely works. It has hard time connecting to base station and/or wifi almost every day.

Tuote on itsessään hyvä

Mutta äppi on aivan käsittämättömän huono.

Yksi huonoimmista sovelluksista

Pettynyt!3 on

Finland

Luulisi, että vajaan 400€:n laitteen ainut käyttöliittymä, josta saa jotain visuaalista dataa olisi edes siedettävä käyttää. Näin ei ole. Sovelluksesta puuttuu aivan keskeisiä toiminnallisuuksia, kuten hälytysrajojen muokkausmahdollisuus. Koko käyttöliittymä on erittäin tönkkö, puhumattakaan käännöksistä. On selvää, että käännökset on tehty jollain tekoälyllä tai automaattisella kääntäjällä, jolloin niistä saa tuskin selvää. Sovelluksesta ei löydy edes mahdollisuutta vaihtaa käytettävää kieltä. Mielummin käyttäisin sovellusta englanniksi, kuin näiden suomenkielisten käännösten irvikuvien avulla. Olen erittäin pettynyt.

Owlet care on huippu - mutta ei täydellinen

Mossemoi on

Finland

Owlet care applikaatiossa meillä esiintyy toistuvasti katkoksia datassa. Keskellä yötä käppyrät häviävät ja palaavat taas tunnin kuluttua. Olen ollut useita kertoja yhteydessä asiakastukeen mutta mitään ratkaisua ei tunnu löytyvän..

Local translations are missing

Kalaztaja on

Finland

Either give me chance to use English or fix translations (Finnish is missing at least). I cannot understand half of the app as I’m left with some weird phrases instead of any meaningful text

Todella hyvä

Ilklot on

Finland

Toimii erittäin hyvin ja tuo mielenrauhaa omaan nukkumiseen. Ei turhia hälytyksiä. Hälytysrajoja pitäisi voida muuttaa itse.

Doesn't notify even Red alerts!

Jokukolme on

Finland

When on a sleep mode, doesn't notify anything! I have made an exception on owlet app to allow all notification! History data inaccurate. Takes ages to "connect the base" and translation to finish is trash!

Terrible translations and difficult setup

psjoholm on

Finland

The translations are severely lacking. Based on previous reviews, the problems have been reported, but that has not lead to any fixes. There’s both obvious errors and also large portions of text missing. The setup was also quite difficult. Apparently the system only supports 2.4 ghz wifi and I had to force my phone onto 2.4 to be able to complete the setup. As that’s not something you can toggle on an iPhone, the only solution I came up with was to temporarily disable 5 ghz on my wifi router.

Poor app

Tienkou on

Finland

We use this with my wife. We love the idea but hate the app (and often the sock). The range of the sock only works next to the base station. So this only works for night sleep. The app itself is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW and unreliable. Data viewers often don’t load. It seems to be connection problem to the sock and/or some remote database where probably the data is stored – I can’t know for sure but the experience using the app is 90% time frustrating. Some architecture rework might be in order or the app is just DC’d all the time. App often gets stuck in notifications - meaning that when I try to snooze some false alarm it just gets stuck to notification (with the alarm still ringing) or snoozes but doesn’t return to the main view (so I can’t f.ex. toggle the base station off while feeding the baby on sofa 3 metres away from the basestation and getting connection problems and alarms for no reason so I have to stop feeding, make my baby cry and go punch the stupid base station). When the app and the sock work it is very nice to have this extra layer of safety and calm. The HW just wasn’t what I expected and app fails us often. I hope you would smoothen the UX for us tired parents.
