Parental Control App - Kidslox

The app was the perfect solution to decrease the addiction of screen of my kids. It was amazing, the way it works was absolutely incredible. There were a few times that my daughter did know the PIN but my son does tell me the truth. We soon set up a PIN that we never used before and my daughter never managed to steal it. Anyway, enough about the previous positive experiences. There were five technical difficulties that I have experienced when using this app, two of them more of a complaint than an issue. Firstly, when the latest update came out, I couldn’t even get in the app. When I go in, it says Safari couldn’t open the page because there was no internet or whatsoever. I checked the internet, it ran at about 10 ping which means there was something wrong with it. Thankfully, “slide to power off” does work but it is inconvenient due to the fact that I have to do that every time I open the app. Another problem is the way of the process of child to lockdown mode. I always unlock my daughter’s iPad first and then my son but the strange thing is, my son gets locked first! Seriously, this is driving my son crazy since he obviously thought that the app was rigged and said it kind of “favours” his sister and whatsoever. I also find it frustrating to see my son angered by this issue. I don’t know whether if it’s the problem with the pairing, the devices or the app itself. Thirdly, when in lockdown mode, my kids have 0% access to safari. My son was doing working on a project his school has sent him and decided to use his iPad when unfortunately, safari was simple tell blocked. He knew this wasn’t normal and realised that this app has blocked full access to kidslox unless in child or parent mode. This also frustrated him and myself. I mean, blocking safari in lockdown mode and declining the opportunity to research stuff my children are curious about, I mean what the heck? Now, I have to change the iPad mode to child mode, slowing down the searching speed of safari. My kids almost always spends their screen time on both Roblox and YouTube so blocking safari completely in lockdown mode is completely unnecessary. The fourth point, which is more likely a complaint, is that my daughter has found a way to “hack” the kidslox pc system. She keeps on logging in and shutting down the pc, repeating this process about 50 times until she finds the kidslox app on the taskbar just by simply clicking the windows button on the pc keyboard. I am the child who has this and I need music to sleep but your delete thing made it so I can’t use Spotify. I am posting this at 1:50 in the morning

This app is literally tracking down my kids device, from the start where I downloaded it his device has 5G but annoyingly, he couldn’t play Roblox or Brawlstars or something. He kept on complaining to me than when I checked his settings, I found out that this app tracks people. Yes, I may sound very complaining, but HOW DO YOU TURN THIS THING OFF. Like why is there even VPN and all he does is just mostly play no internet games having a boring screen time. So, can you please tell me why there is no internet. And why does it suddenly have VPN. Can you please remove this because it is very annoying.

When I unlock my daughter’s iPad first, then I unlock my son’s, for some random reason my son gets locked a minute before my daughter. Why kidslox, just why does this happen? My son is so frustrated about this issue, yes this does happen every time I unlock my children’s iPad in this order. Please fix this

It is horrendous, there are multiple prominent glitches, and over all, the control of the app lies in the device being controlled! This application is utterly useless, in addition to my previous points, this application will TRACK YOUR CHILDS LOCATIONS as it utilises a VPN to control your child’s phone, which will track your child’s location and data, which they are most likely selling to big companies for MILLIONS. In summary, DO NOT download this app, it is utterly useless, and frankly puts you and your child in danger.

It would be good if this came with a three day trial. Apple would only allow me to purchase a 12 month subscription.

My mother and father currently downloaded this app for my phone and I am 12 years old,after about 3 months after my parents deleted the app and for someone reason 2 months later the app has locked everything and I can’t get access to all my other apps and I do not know how to fix it since my parents deleted the app on my phone but when they try to download it again it says it CANT due to restrictions please help me fix this issue.

У мене троє дітей та я не хворий щоб іх контролювати але базова функіі повинні працювати на 100%. Тупа підтримка рівня чат бот - ніколи нічого не вирішує, чи не може логі подивитись чи запросити. Я купив додаток не для того щоб вам пояснювати кожний ваш баг. Це може бути коли я лояльний. А ваш додаток вночі реве тривогу тому що стрибнуло гео і типу дитина переїхала вночі в сусідній район хоча вайфай гігабфтний вдома. Не раджу, тільки тому шо то дадає більше тривоги ніж задача прибрати іі.

Hello, I have had kidslox enabled on my phone for a while, it was doing what it was supposed to at first, but then a VPN appeared on my iPhone and four of my favourite games are completely missing from my phone. I check the App Store and it says there is restrictions enabled but when I ask my parents they say they haven’t put any restrictions on those apps. Please respond fast

my mum uses this app for me even if I download like a widget app or smt then it still blocks like wth can I not set up my phone?? So annoying I hate this app I want my mum to stop using it but I don’t think she will. I hate u Kidslox
