Set up is terrible

Set up auto top up and enable payment or receiving money is terrible!

Changes required

Able to download the app in Australia, but cannot register to use it because it’s fixed to using a Hong Kong telephone number. That’s a drawback.

Face scan not working !!

Face scan is useless. I can’t get in. Please fix

Scanning ID and faces doesn’t work properly

Trying to scan your ID card properly in the app is almost impossible. I see that I am not alone with this problem based on other reviews here. Then trying to scan your face to increase your account limit is also impossible. Combine that with rubbish customer service of the bank itself and why even bother.

Failed to scan HKID

Tried scanning in HKID dozens of times in different lighting and in different offices, even tried reinstalling the app but always run into the “failed to scan HKID” error after it says “successfully scanned HKID”. Support was not helpful at all

DOES NOT WORK

The scanning for ID DOES NOT WORK .. tried over 2 dozen times in various light and it will not scan. Completely useless and going to delete. I’d give it a lower rating if possible

The ok our money, closed the account and won’t refund

PayMe allowed us to set up an account and transfer in $1000. Then PayMe sent notice the account is not eligible and shut it down but will not return the $1000. There is no clear process to retrieve despite several emails and communications. Next step is the banking regulator. Will update the review when we learn more. Update: as soon as we threatened to involve the HK regulator we were given access to our money and able to retrieve it. So now we are finished with PayMe. Changed from 1 star to 2 stars for getting our money back!

Funding options are a problem

PayMe is awesome. Or, was.....until you reduced the monthly limit for Visa card top ups. This makes PayMe useless for me. May as well just use FPS through my bank app

Easy to use but not available in all app stores

I love using it, much easier than doing bank transfers. But my husband's App Store is registered in the uk and can't download it.. So it means there's alot of ppl that can't use it until it's available in more countries..
