Location doesn’t work

katechka94 on

I like the app but I want to find moms within walking distance from me but no matter how I change the settings it keeps showing profiles from the opposite side of the city somehow

Connecting with other moms

womenlaw on

Feeling less alone, this app is great to learn more and make new mom friends 🫶🏼

Disappointed with changes over the years

Tayls702 on

I joined peanut about 4 years ago and loved the concept and made some great friends. I am on my second pregnancy and the app doesn’t seem to want to connect people anymore… cannot see waves and the biggest disappointment is 24 hours to respond to matches. We are new moms, tired, busy around the clock and now have a time crunch to make a friend.

Full of hate, scammers, and men

Elgsgr on

I loved this app at first. I was finding so much useful information as a ftm. I felt like everyone could share their opinions and point of views, from a place of love & care. No one ever wanted to actually meet up, and people disappear. But that was no longer the point of having the app for me. Slowly I started noticing strange posts. Some sexual, some involving children. These posts would eventually get deleted, but it’s horrible to think the people who post them are on the app. It is also FULL of scammers! Their comments/accounts never seem to get deleted. You will get messages from them, especially the more you use the app. All the popular posts are full of hate. Women bashing other women. Calling each other names. Saying horrible things like how they shouldn’t be a mother. You can’t say anything without someone else attacking you. It has become so so toxic. More & more women seem to be leaving the app. It isn’t what it used to be!

Location discovery does not work

nidafatima on

It’s such a great concept but the location discovery feature is completely broken. I’ve tried setting my radius to 1km or 5km and it tries to match with people out of town!! Majority of the people I’m matched with are out of the city I’m in. And I live in a major city close to downtown. Really hope someone is reading this and can fix it

Love the Peanut app!

Sweet tooth 74 on

I joined the app in April 2024 and I love how welcoming and supportive it has been to chat and meet moms in Ontario and I even discovered my neighbour across the street on the app. I’ve also offered support to other moms who are expecting for the first time. It’s exciting to be on the Peanut app!

Love it!

I’ve met so many cool moms, my friend circle has grown so much with amazing people and long term friendships! Highly recommend if you looking for mom friends! :)

Amazing app to make mom friends

joce44444444 on

I’ve made some really great friends through this app. As well as started a walking group for Moms where we meet monthly.

Age

umm:/ :( 👎🏽 on

It says 9+ but in the app it says you need to be 18+, I just turned 17 and I’m in my last month of pregnancy, it would be good for you guys to actually put the age lower then 18 because there are alot of teen moms out there that need support too.

Sexist

techromancer on

Designed solely for moms finding moms. No support at all for dads trying to find play dates for their toddler[s]. Dads are parents too. I thought that the point was to find a appropriate playmates for the kids, not for the parents to find gal pals.
