Becoming unusable
I hate writing bad reviews but this is getting ridiculous. I bought this to keep an eye on my hedgehog. The camera itself is fantastic. It was easy to setup and the quality is perfect for what I need. Then I tried the petcube care free trial. The service itself was okay, it would miss large chunks of obvious activity but that’s not the problem.
When you turn on the livestream, a loud doorbell noise sounds on the cam. I turned this off immediately because my pet is very sensitive to noise. However, the app keeps resetting the settings and turning the noise back on and notifications off. At first I thought it was because of petcube care since that’s when it started but no. Then I assumed it was because of app updates but it’s not that either.
A number of times I’ve tried to bring this up this via the feedback option on the app but that doesn’t even work! The keyboard blocks the send button but can’t be hidden.
Now I hardly use this camera because it keeps scaring the life out of my pet with the doorbell noise. Every time I turn it off, it’s back on again in a few days. It’s so frustrating because other than this, it’s close to being perfect! Please could this be fixed??

Amazing but
Trying to use the laser but it won’t move even though it’s enabled and on i’m trying to move it but it doesn’t work I see the laser on i’m on iPhone 8 but this app is amazing
Love my pet cube almost as much as my pets
Have found this invaluable and now wonder how I managed without it.
In the night I can check that my fur babies are ok if they start barking.
On holiday I can see when the pet sitter has been and can talk to my babies and reward them for good behaviour.
I can check who has been involved in squabbles my Siamese or my Poochon and ChiChi.
Unreliable
One day it works, and then the next 4 days it doesn’t... constantly resetting box and logging out of app...

Petcube Play - great for cats and dogs too! I recently bought the PetCube Play camera, and I love it already!
Arrived quickly, well packaged and very easy to setup (took less than 10minutes).
The unit it’s self is very compact (7.5cm x 7.5cm x 7.5cm) and with a long power cable, it’s easy to put it in most places and get the best angle for the camera.
The app that goes along side the camera is easy to use and navigate around. I love the fact you can set up friends/family who can also access the camera.
The camera ‘live’ feed, is just that - with no delay/lag, great video quality and super zoom feature.
The laser option is easy to use and my small puppy loves to chase it! (Great where she in another room or out of the camera sight - to bring her back into sight!)
The two way audio means that I can talk to my pet and also hear if they are making any noise!
All in all, great product and great app! They’ve really thought about the consumer and it’s a great user experience! Would recommend to fellow pet owners! :)

This app works seamlessly with Petcube bites. The camera is great and streams straight to the app, flinging the treats by swiping is my favourite bit by far! Love the Facebook sharing features, it is totally not helping my crazy cat lady status though!
Terrific for the working Pet Parent
Easy to set up and operate. The only thing you need is a decent wi-fi and phone signal. Any problems, I can call the support helpline.
You remain in control of the PetCube at all times, and can set who looks at the PetCube, and when. I really like that. For the working pet parent the PetCube is useful, it lets you keep an eye on a youngster or a senior, and it's helpful in monitoring a pet's health too.
I have seen the recently developed nightsight PetCube which is superb and just much fun! We love our PetCube!!
