Dharma Talks are teachings given by Thich Nhat Hanh and others on how to bring Buddhist wisdom and mindfulness into our life. Rather than discussing theoretical concepts, they focus on direct and clear teachings to relieve suffering and create happiness in our day to day lives.

BELL OF MINDFULNESS
In Plum Village monasteries bells of mindfulness chime at regular intervals. Everybody stops and takes three mindful breaths to pause from their thinking or talking, breathe, and return to their bodies. The Bell of Mindfulness allows us to have the same reminder on our phone.
We can customize the bell to chime at different time periods. Settings include:
• Start time / End time
• Chime intervals
• Bell volume
• Daily repeating schedule

Perfect peace always there
Thank you for this wonderful source of calm. However difficult life seems, however little time there feels to be available for the myriad of things that need to be done, whenever I feel I just don’t have time to meditate, or my usual meditation seems unattainable or impossible or just doesn’t quite restore me, I go into the Plum Village app and find something wonderful to take me back to that wonderful place of stillness and peace. A beautiful and generous resource
I am not always able to get to my local sangha as I am often away. Over the years I have completed a lot of counselling in order to manage previous traumas. The talks and guides on this app have been a lifeline, like sitting down with a good friend, always gently reminding me to come back to the breathe and the island within.
