I watched pure flex for a couple of months then when it came time to cancel they told me they could not find me on there computer so they needed my account number which i didn’t have but they continued billing me for years… with time I forgot . It’s been probably been 5 to 7 years since I’ve been paying them for nothing because with work and kids I do t have time to watch … so my advice is to not join .. get other company that doesn’t give u a hard time. ….lol And they call them selfs Christian …. No stars for pure flex
Quality Content sadly behind in technology
I really enjoy Pure Flix and the programming. The app however is horrible and comparative to dial up internet in 2024. Series with multiple seasons are extremely difficult to search with often the app not opening or showing all the seasons/episodes to keeping track of last viewed episode. Also the app doesn’t allow for watching across multiple devices, leave off on one and pick up on the other. Really with Great American would put some money into the app for more technologically friendly. It’s antiquated and makes the 80 dollars a year a tough choice.
Alternative stream
It is a decent alternative for streaming service that is clean and family friendly. I personally enjoy the Veggietales series with my kids and probably the only reason why I currently have an active account.
Some of the movies are very campy and too goofy for my taste but that’s ok for now. Would like to see original content that isn't too close to the hallmark vibe.
On the app side, my biggest issue is that I can’t create “My List” or favorite videos. For whatever reasons, it’s broken on iPhone app, & Apple TV app. I’ve even tied using the web browser. If y'all can fix that, that would be great.
I want to love it, but….
I’ve tried PureFlix so many times in the past and there was always so many issues with the app and the content was so campy.
When I saw that they were part of Great American Family I decided to give it another try.
The content is way better, but the user interface on the apps of all different types of devices is terrible. The “add to list” doesn’t work at all, it doesn’t remember what you’ve watched or where you are in what you’ve watched the search feature is ridiculously frustrating….and so on.
Get your app together and it’ll be amazing!!

Not working with chromecast! Very disappointing as I’m a new subscriber.
Watch From Browser Instead
Doesn’t work with VPN - HUGE no for me. No closed captioning. No history. No way to easily resume watching unless you remember name of movie. No 10 or 15 second replay or skip ahead. One of the poorest apps but thankfully in browser works much better for user experience.
App wouldn’t work on Apple TV or IPad
We downloaded this app and signed up for the free trial mostly for veggie tales. I never managed to access the videos and after downloading, deleting redownloading and trying on multiple devices I gave up. Really disappointed this didn’t work out.
Love the idea or christian content but app stinks
Can’t watch half the stuff, nothing I add to my list actually goes to my list. I constantly have to search for a certain movie I wanted to watch. Kinda annoying.
Ok but…
In order to get your favorites, you’re to press the heart icon. But every time I press on the heart, it won’t stay highlighted. I would give it a five star if it worked properly.
