App Malfunctions and Constant Updates

74631256246734 on

United States

The ring central app constantly malfunctions on my phone. There are times that I have to update the app more than twice a week. Sometimes when I answer a call through the app, it ends the call. When the app is working, its fine. Just lots of tech issues

Easiest app to use! Love it.

Amazing

I got the hang of it

2 MAJOR UPDATES NEEDED

rreeves35 on

United States

1. I have colleagues calls that get routed to me. When I receive an incoming call, I can see on my desktop app which number the incoming call is going to (myself or a colleague). However, I CANNOT see which number it is on my cell phone app. I NEED to be able to see who the number is coming from on my cell app (I.e. is the incoming call being rerouted from a colleague or am I receiving a direct call). 2. Remove autocorrect from the name field! It’s so annoying every time I enter a last name it gets autocorrected to something completely different.

Settings don’t work

@$&?% on

United States

Sometimes I have to put the app on Do Not Disturb if I’m at a client site or on a Teams call. The app will still push through calls.

No watch app?

CleveDawgPound on

United States

I silence my phone and use my watch for all notifications. The lack of a watch app means a lot of missed calls for me. I guess I can forward callers to my cell as this app is useless for me.

Contract scam

Charlie 9595 on

United States

Be aware they make you sign a contract and auto renew every year and they do not allow you to cancel unless it is within 30 days of the end of the contract they count on people forgetting to cancel the contract auto renew also the cancellation is the full amount of the remaining contract it is thousands of dollars again be aware and don’t sign the contract

Inconsistent customer service

Outdoorfan123 on

United States

Every rep tells us we need to make a different change to get our texting working. We keep making the changes and after months still no texting. We’re losing business because of their incompetence in knowing what’s actually needed, or constantly changing the rules. We have emails documenting exactly what to do, we do it, then they tell us to switch it back before we can start texting, then we get another change request. Every rep has a different opinion, and they’re constantly repeating themselves. Super frustrating working with them.

RingCentral TCR is a scam

Kawwa18 on

United States

RingCentral TCR team is not helpful at all. Website says their review for TCR campaign will take up to 20 days and when I reached out they say 20 to 30 days. Even after waiting for 30 days and after doing multiple iterations on how they would like certain wordings, campaign still gets rejected. I reached out to TCR directly and was advised that all this is due to RingCentral third party TCR services team. I don't even have partial access to SMS and I keep losing leads because of it. It been four months and still no SMS. I found OpenPhone to be way more reliable and helpful in getting things done. I would not recommend RingCentral for any business.

Do not go with RingCentral!

..Unhappycustomer on

United States

Not good. Stopped working out of nowhere. No changes were made. I have been out 9 days without a phone. We installed the app in a different phone and it didn’t work. I would go with another provider who isn’t costing you money!
